Draenei have sufficient lore to support Tinker, given that Artificers are a notable aspect of their culture.
Dwarves too, given they are one of the more technologically advanced races.
But realistically, if Tinker comes to the game every race will get it, because the majority of the playerbase doesn’t appear to want race/class restrictions anymore.
Because adding a class takes a lot more than just throwing them in with the rest.
I guess?
Honestly, I would like it.
Not sure I’d play one since I love BM hunter so much, but I’d be willing to try it out at least. And with the exception of Monks, I have not liked any of the added classes.
To this day i dont get what people in wow see in Tinker/Bard. The only “popular” bard in MMOs is the ff14 one and thats only because they dont have a ranger. And for Tinker GW2 has engineer and to not very popular outside of the sudo pet spec just because its the easiest to play.
astrologer seems like it could be way more interesting of a class considering all the spacial looking magic we’ve seen ingame from bosses. I’d rather be throwing around constellations than grenades.
Well, personally I like tinker for that they use their wits to build gadgets and things to use instead of brute force something, it could fit some small race aswell that uses his wits to conquer his physical limitations. It appeals to ppl who like tech and gadgets I imagine.
And bard appeals to the adventuring type that also have interest in storytelling and dig playing musical intruments or like music in general and would like to have wide variety on capabilities like magic and thievery and some fightery but not exactly masterful in none.
