I didn’t play classic, levelled to 60 at launch and parked my char, levelling another (same class, warrior) now on mirage raceway for TBC, it’s 42. The negative factors of the boost for the overall health of the game vastly outweigh your dislike of levelling.
You have friends to play with? Get them to dungeon boost you, at least that is playing the game and not paying Blizzard for a service that negatively impacts the whole game for everyone. Having people insta popping into HFP with their brand new 58 boosts, and all the insta 58 bots.
Sorry but a few people not liking levelling isn’t gonna change my opinion, and I’m not huge on levelling either.
More people playing a game (because of boost) doesn´t hurt a game. IF someone uses a boost, its a win win, he can play TBC right away and you have more people to play with.
“Few people not liking levelling”. It´s not few people m8, its a lot of people who don´t want to invest 200+ hours ingame hours for leveling in Classic. They want to play TBC, not Classic. You can stomach boredom to a certain point, 200+ hours is way beyond what I want to sacrifice just to be able to play TBC.
Its a game jeees, its original purpose is to have fun in your free time.
Ya quit so much that the only reason that I’m no longer raiding in classic is due of mine retail guild having changed mine schedule same as the classic one.
What do you expect from the TBC leveling ?
It’ll be the same with a bit less walking. If you are planning on chain dungeon it’ll be way worse : you’ll spam the same spells (1-3 max) killing the same mobs in the same dungeons for hours.
Enjoy your TBC endgame as a hunter. Back in 2007 there was a 1 button macro for a reason.
It feel like the “nostalgia” effect from Vanilla will repeat in TBC.
Yeah class and gameplay is better overall than Classic but having to pushing 2 more buttons doesn’t make a huge difference.
End game PvE (even pre nerf) will be crush day 1 by hardcore guilds and week 1 by the average guilds.
In 2007 : A chinese guild killed Illidan in T3. What do you expect from this content vs the 2021 playerbase who are gonna clear the T4 then T5 for months ?

Why can’t we enjoy our favourite game, without all the chores it has?
Yes they are boring, they take time and if you don’t have them, you can’t play or participate in end game economy with your friends.
Look at the flying mount. If you don’t have one you can’t do Tempest Keep dungeons with your friends. Boost it !
What about professions? The new 58s won’t have any professions so they won’t be able to participate in end game economy with their friends and they will be left behind. Boost it !
Oh and what about atunements ?! Some players won’t have the time to attune as fast as their friends so they will be left behind. Boost it!
Game needs more boosts Blizzard or else too many players will be left behind and the game will fail.
