If you don't want boosts in TBC, you shouldn't be able to character transfer

No thank you.
I’m already settled in my guild

I thought I’m against boosting too, I’m here to confess I was wrong, and I hope this will be just the start.
Time is of the essence. Who has time to level or make dungeons or raid?
It’s just common sense to be able to buy boost if you don’t like to level, buy items if you don’t have time or mood to farm them, buy gold because farming is boring, buy PvP rateing because it isn’t always fun, and get Tier sets from the shop ofc.

It only make sense because players with more time, commitment and skill will have all of the above and I won’t. This is unacceptable.

I see no problem what so ever against buying everything the game has to offer, and anyone who contradicts me is wrong x infinity.
I mean why I can buy w/e I want in Retail but not Classic?! Where’s the logic?

You had me in the first half ngl.

Money talks this is the way of the world no?

I can already buy all i want in this game if i wanted.
I can hire a guy and tell him exactly what i want and he will get it. Mount? Gear? level? gold? it doesn’t matter. Real life money can make this happen.

By your logic this is ok, but for blizzard to add a simple level boost for money that the average joe like me can spend. Is a no no?

Rich people simply hire people to get what they want, this is ok no?

Rich stuff there. Top draw.

meh, boost is bad cause my opinions

meh, boost is good cause my opinions

meh

how about, we all just play our own game and not worry about what some random internet number did or didnt do?

everyone here who has been looking forward to tbc will be playing it, boost or no boost, so just get on and enjoy it and stop worry about what others are doing.

I’d like to expand on this, I am not rooting for the level 58 boost so none of the arguments you have for me being too uncommitted to levelling won’t work.
I just think that the idea of people being able to transfer their maxed characters is also bad because with the amount of gold people have the economy does not look good.
I am just stating how it is unfair that either of these ideas be implemented and I’m leaning more towards a fresh start for everyone.
I am just trying to put this out there that both are as bad as each other, I’ve seen the people in forums advertising how they are going to camp people who boost and feel that kind of behaviour is unwarranted and prevents new players or people who didn’t play classic from wanting to give it a go.

So play retail? Clearly classic isnt the game for you then. Why should the entire game adapt to YOU?

We wanted classic cause we did not want the stuff Blizzard have done with the game, So now the retail andys are coming with “We dont like how classic is played so please implement retail stuff so we will like classic as well”

Holy crap, Just play retail if you like that stuff…

Ive said this on other posts… but here comes one more for you lorran…

Things being available for purchase (transfers, faction change etc) does not change your game or your gameplay… its quality of life… and if you dont like it, dont use it. Just be happy blizzard is even making this stuff and running it for you to play on the same sub as retail instead of requiring extra payments…

Now shut the heck up already with your no cash shop bull@#_& and let blizzard do their monetization so they can keep the game going… they are a company first and has to make a profit somehow… so better cosmetics and services rather than straight up selling store locked weapons with op stats.

Ofc it changes player experience? When faction change was released it literally made 90% the realms horde or ally dominated.

You have the option to stay in retail which have these services, YOU stick to that instead of demanding classic players to accept it when it was not a thing during these times.

So you and the rest of retail plebs can shut the heck up, You have your game, now stop ruining others.

The faction imbalance happened because of the horde racials being straight op back in mist of pandaria, at this time the faction change had already been a thing for a long time… so you gotta go further out with that claim

No it did not, Faction change enabled it and killed it, Within 2-3 months multiple of the big realms were totally ruined, You have no idea what you are talking about.

Stop talking trash, Go back to retail which have these services you love so much.

No I won’t shut up, and none of your cliches have swayed me even a millimetre.

How many times now have I heard variations of ‘it won’t affect you’ and ‘if you don’t like it don’t use it’ and ‘it’s Blizzard’s game they can do what they wish’? The same old non-arguments again, and again and again. It’s boring, it’s lazy, it’s tiresome and I’ve heard it all before. I strongly suspect that if I were to read this thread from top to bottom, I’d see those same tired cliches used in countless posts before yours.

The faction change made it easier, but -all- the really serious raiders had had already changed simply by leveling.

I played through this era and experienced it. Even moved to horde by leveling myself because i couldnt afford transfers back then… did i care? No. Which is why to this day i keep my main class and primary alt at max on both factions on retail… cause i have friends on both… i do however not play retail anymore because of how much of a chore its become with all the systems and weekly grinds…

I play classic exclusively atm because i enjoy it and i prefer the community here, but people only seeing what blizzard does (no matter what they do might i add) as a bad thing has started to turn into a meme now tbh…

They are a company and need to generate revenue, both to keep investors happy but also to keep servers up… without ingame monetization it wouldnt have been possible for wow to even last this long… and running 3 seperate mmos only increases the server cost, which means blizz has to increase revenue. Which, the store is the optimal way to do it through…

As long as the store doesnt offer unobtainable ingame player power, then it literally doesnt change the game for you… just dont buy anything if you dont want to.

Stop talking nonsense.

I played classic 8 month, did the raids and pvp rank 9.

Just got bored. Retail is more booring.

The fact i agree with a 58 boost, because i dont want to level again amother class that i will main in tbc instead of my 60 warlock, doesnt mean i enjoy retail and haye classic.

Tbc was the exp i started wow with and its miles better than classic.

Ur mind cant just comprehend that the boost helps some players who
Dont have the time or dont wanna level trough classic again.

I like classic, once to level a char( for me its booring to relevel another char.

So before defend classic like i insulted ur mom or somth, think in a more oerational perspective than emotional.

Yea, i hate bots also, bit woth or without boosts the game will be full
Of
Bots; like classic was- and we had no boost.

Have a nice day!
