And my very first post to you is that the addon has to be update by the user every day, that is user error if they are running out of date information.
The addon updates off the database which runs off the API.

What… The addon stops showing scores after a few days because it expires so you have to update it to see scores.
The addon does not stop showing scores, the addon requires you to update daily but that is all explained. You just open Twitch/Overwolf/WowUp/whatever you use and update it before you log in the game and bam you have current scores for all.
They even have a desktop app if you prefer to use that instead.

It does. When that time is up that’s listed there, it stops showing scores and says it’s expired. You HAVE to update at that point to get the scores back again.
So I logged in especially to demonstrate and I looked at any random player in game. This lovely vulpera is my guinea pig
So if I hover over him in game I can see
If I go to their raider io profile I can see
If I then compare that to the armory
I can see it’s all up to date. Generally speaking raider io is kinder than the armory because it gives score for all runs even if you don’t time them. Your score just doesn’t increase unless you do a key faster or higher.
Raider io is disgusting.
People deny +4-+6 because you havnt got enough experience in lfg on char in recent times 
I find that RIO is quite accurate on others and myself. I usually update it before logging in if I plan on doing keys that day.
I manually link my alts to my main and it also seems to show correctly.

In that case the addon has got smarter to force people to update more regularly. Very nice 
Yeah, it shows like this if you use it past the expiry date:
“Raider.io data has expired”, you see no score.
Nice! Would be better if people just updated daily, there is little point to using an addon if you don’t see the current data.
Yeah, the expiry date is 4 or 5 days or something on it. So people can be almost a whole week behind on the data before they’re forced to update, lol.
I actually like the desktop app, but updating via Twitch or whatever addon management tool works fine daily too.
Judging the people who have been using it on me so far their response to this happening would be
“You don’t even HAVE any scores or experience and you want to join ME? (trail of swears) off you loser quit the game and don’t dare do dungeons again!”
I always only used the website to check my own raider io. Although I would prefer it wasn’t something that people should worry about. But I understand why its a thing.
Thisi s my experience etxactly and the whole reason I hate stuff like this, even on lower end keys this happens, blergh.
I’ve never seen anyone use raider.io for low keys, like, ever. They just check your ilvl and your class/spec.
My ilvl is fine for +6 tyvm…
You’re a dps. There’s plenty of people applying for keys that have higher ilvl than you do, especially now during a bfa dungeon event week.
