I’ve been accused of being low level in that (if that should be an accusation and not just information) more times that I can count now (ok it’s 5). The problem is that that addon does not automatically update the progress of people (you have to re-download it on a new version and half the people seem to not understand that) and it’s also very incomplete because it does not cover well what it claims to cover especially because in several occasions it fails to report the main’s progress and the alt may show low experience because of that.
Kindof agree
I know too many people saying my io is too low for like a +12 this expansion
I had 1900 score on my main, god knows how long since he updated it
I remember for a few weeks my Nyalotha raid kills counter didn’t move despite doing bosses and with updating it. if it’s going to take up so much memory it could at least work.
If you cannot put enough efford into the game by downloading and updating a single addon, do you think you convinced me that you will put enough efford into the dungeon run?
That is user error not the addon. The site pushes updates twice a day for the addon, more if you are a subscriber. I use the desktop app myself and run it once a day to update the database.
Wrong. You can not update yourself the entire game’s character pool. The addon is extremely incomplete especially when inspecting alts because more times than not it does not even show they have important achievements like Curve and I’ve personally confirmed they have it via the official web armory.
I am not wrong.
I have been using Raider io since it became evident it was a far more reliable system than checking wowprogress.
The addon is extremely effective. It just requires you to update once a day.
You really must be joking. It does not - for example - automatically update the alts of all people in the game and they have to do it manually themselves.
Have you even used the addon lately (but actually inspecting people on the official armory to see if it works well)?
You do not understand how it works. Raider io’s data is from the API from Blizzard.
Every run that is recorded by Blizzard is updated on the system whether an individual uses the addon or not.
When I update daily it updates your score, Bob’s score, Betty’s score, everyone’s score.
What about Berny’s :c
Berny’s runs and score are on there too!
Again you must be joking and I doubt you use that addon a lot. It does not have AT ALL the alts of several people because they never manually updated them themselves and it can be slow or empty even for mains if nobody bothers.
Go inspect the armories of people after you list a heroic Ny’alotha for example and you’ll get tons of alts that have Curve and raider io has no clue.
Your alts need at least 200 score in order to be included in the addon
It seems everything I explain is falling on deaf ears.
I have been using the addon since it was introduced. I am very familiar with it’s workings and how the API works.
You on the other hand will not listen and I suggest you go and read the FAQs provided by Raider io and the explanations of how it all works because you are wrong.
Alts require you to mark a main on the website, so that they are connected to a ‘main score’, alts are also required a minimum score in order to show, it’s a very nominal low score.
I seriously suggest you read up on the website as you are confused
Wrong again. Go read the official page of the addon. " Your alt must connected to your Main" so it’s massively incomplete if you have a 200 alt and the main is high level without the player literally following manual steps.
Without being connected to a main the alt is treated as an individual record and will show a score once it hits the threshold. Same as if it were your main.

It seems everything I explain is falling on deaf ears. Alts require you to mark a main on the website
It seems you fail massively with the strawman fallacy. Nobody here is telling you that the addon/site does not work but that it is incomplete since you have no clue if people update it manually/link their mains manually.
So really go find that strawman and argue with it because you’re not talking to me but to that strawman argument you created.
The mark a main is only so that you can have your main score show on an alt. Not so that the alt is excluded from showing any score of it’s own.

The mark a main is only so that you can have your main score show on an alt. Not so that the alt is excluded from showing any score of it’s own.
OK keep going off topic and evading the fact. Nobody here is telling you that the addon does not work after players update it manually.
I’m telling you people are idiots assuming it has everything automatically (and they sometimes don’t even know it needs updating).

It does not have AT ALL the alts of several people because they never manually updated them themselves and it can be slow or empty even for mains if nobody bothers.
What?
If you list your characters as alts on the page, your main’s score will show up in the addon when you’re playing alts.
