Hi all,
How does the beta work for people who signed up?
I didnt buy whichever edition it is to get instant access but signed up for it.
I am presuming they email a code or something but i’ve never done this for any game before so was just looking for some insight to how it works

The most efficient way is to just check the launcher, it will appear under the In Development section:-
You should get an email telling you, you’ve been invited to participate if you’ve signed up for beta and have been chosen to test. The emails are often slower than the update to the launcher. Wowhead are usually quite good at announcing when invite waves have gone out.
This is pretty much how my Cata beta invite looked:-
My TWW has not yet updated to Beta but I’m expecting that to be pushed out today at some point, probably during US working hours or this evening for us.
No codes are sent, it’s all just activated on your account.

Remix came out like 18:00 uk time so presuming the same for beta

When I got DF beta the email came in the middle of the night, I guess because the US time zones are hours behind us so the invite waves are at unsociable hours to us

Under “In Development” My launcher has:
PTR Wrath Classic
WoW Classic Era PTR
PTR DF 10.2.7
PTR DF 10.2.6
Do you know how I remove them ?
You can ask support to remove the PTR accounts. You’d have to raise a ticket.
I removed all my PTR accounts as I don’t like having loads of stuff listed on my bnet account.
