I’ve never done this, but looking on Google quickly and finding a reddit post from several months ago, this was said:
“You lose all skill levels and recipes per expansion. The only thing you get to keep is your profession knowledge, which remains as-is if you re-learn the profession.”
I think this also means you will not get those knowledge points back to spend again, but the knowledge points will be in the same areas, which they were placed prior to the unlearning of the profession.
Damn that sucks.
Yes. The knowledge points stay exactly spend like they were before.
Just start new profession instead of “mistaken” one.
Do the “mistaken” one properly on alt.
When I unlearned my blacksmithing, I did receive a warning that I would lose all my recipes. So I should think so.
KP stays the same, but profession level goes to 0 and you will unlearn all the recipes. You will not gain KP for doing the recipes you once done either
