If You Were An NPC 💬

Where would you want to be positioned,

and what would you want him / it / her to do? ( optional ).

I’d have me “Twiluna” positioned at the hunters class order hall :bow_and_arrow: ,

Maybe giving out a quest where i’d have a player go and do a /silly at other sad NPC’s to cheer them up.

I always wanted me as an NPC ( BM hunter) to be on those floating bits of land in the sky in Nagrand.

I guess to add a modern twist could add a side quest where I have a golf type stick with a couple of balls and you have to knock it through a few floating hoops that appear when you pick up the quest :grinning::+1:

I’d be a bartender.

Or an archivist.

I want to be a Nightborne NPC, greeting the new Nightborne players in the Nighthold the Nightborne starting zone. I do it even now, pretending to be a NPC, I stand by Thalyssra and say “Welcome adventurer!” it is quite fun how some people get confused lol.

Doesn’t undead starting area have a questline like this? Its a silly and fun questline.

Back in the days when my rogue was horde i used to pretend being a npc or a random mob in the human starting areas. Quite the many got fooled and pvp flagged.

In the alliance base, defending the boss in some epic BG, or maybe some of the elite npcs that advance in Ashran when you conquest GY to aid your team.

Bard in an inn sounds about right.

Put my DK in Zul’Drak fighting off waves of enemies over at Zeramas.

Put my Paladin in Silvermoon over at walk of elders with a quest to tour the city.

I’d be a male human, dancing on a mailbox in Stormwind. But in my panties would just be arrest warrants and restraining orders instead of cash bills.

My Robokiller would be found in Mechagon city in shady alleys.
he would be called “Robotic Killer” (His full name) and would have a little rep and rewards! (Rep: Unknown (5.000) → Ally (10.000)-> Worthy Companion (20.000) that you get by eliminating enemyes (normal mobs: 100 èlite 500 Rares 1000 Wbs 5000)
he also would have a dialogue option and items to buy!

"who's behind this robot?"(Unknown/Ally)

Only who’m i find worthy will be able to know.

"who's behind this robot?"(Worthy Companion)

I’m unit P3p, a small bird that built this robot to comunicate and interract with the world around me.
i would like that this would would be pure, and to do so, i need to eliminate the evil.
Will you help me in this quest?

he would sell only 2 items:
(250 gold)
Robo-tent: you place down a tent made with metal, with a mechanical Campfire and a little chest.
(300 gold)
friend Essemble: keeping this in your inventory will sometimes make Robotic Killer appear in the shadows near you (you and your group can see it only, and only you see it in m+, Raid and PvP)

A high elf bard in the snug harbor inn.

Or a night elf druid healing/giving the player character a quest to heal something together. Say, a npc who was hurt, or somehow repairing an ancient of lore/war, you get the idea.

Elrian, The Orc Slayer

I’d be in Bashal’Aran, sitting in the Vicious Kaldorei Warsaber.
I would be the NPC that gives players the weekly quest to kill hordies, and also the NPC who talks to Alliance players when they fly over a PVP world quest.

In the current expansion, near a point of heavy interest (Such as the AH, or the item upgrade NPC), but in a dark corner close by. I’d also have a smol lynx pet.

“Hello there, are you interested in my shady wares?”

:moneybag: Let me browse your goods.

Item list:

:herb: Felweed: 4g 20s (stacks of 5), makes your character feel high and happy for 5 in game minutes. Repeated dosage will increase the effects.

:mushroom: Modified Mawshroom: 6g 66s (stacks of 5), when consumed you see everything filled with variations of a given NPC. (Such as when you use the Corgi goggles, all you see are corgis.)
