I suggested an additional queueu option, so that your suggested 95% can continue as is. I do not want to take anything away. I had a few wsg matches today pug vs pug and they were very enjoyable.
I think more people would enjoy that.
For sure the people in that bg on my faction were exited to be able to actively play in the bg.

Except

1. Premade exploits are always going to be a risk, so you need a way to prevent that from happening. All of the different exploits rely on one thing, and that’s to manipulate the pool size of the players you can get matched up with to a size small enough to have a high chance of ending up together. So with another option to queue, that’d be a real possibility, especially in the segregated Russian pool.
2. If rewards are “worth it”, it drives away people from the other pool, which affects both the possibility for premades to form (why do it if you don’t earn more from doing so), and also motivates even more desperate attempts to perform premade exploits.

And you argue this is for fun. So why do you ask for rewards?

Because otherwise this quickly turns from “I want the matchmaking to be fun” to “I want the matchmaking to provide rewards to me in a more convenient way” instead.

And let’s not kid ourselves, that’s why likely a lot of people are complaining. Because it keeps them from the rewards to be losing the BGs during the “little time” they have to play.

I think pre mades should be encouraged and instead of people wanting to solo queue with a bunch of people they don’t know and won’t see again, should talk on their server and form a group they can play together with.

I really think this would enhance the game for people much more than solo queuing as it actively engages people with their realm and creates a community.
