The Zereth Mortis reputation requirement is now replaced by requiring of the following achievements instead: Mythic: Sepulcher of the First Ones, Shadowlands Keystone Hero: Season Three, Elite: Shadowlands Season 3.
Surely this is positive for those who do these contents, but the upgrade token just became unavailable for those who doesn’t.
How so? The only thing that’s changed is the reputation requirement being removed. The rest is still the same, so this change benefits those who do raiding, Mythic+ or PvP while it doesn’t affect those who don’t. Before this change you had to have one of these three achievements plus the reputation at exalted. Now you just need one of the achievements without the reputation.
I’d rather they just removed the conduits from the game all together… or at the very least the need to upgrade them at all. Pointless grind.
Most of the power comes from having conduit, while ranks buff you for minuscule additional amount.
I currently don’t have any conduits above 226. I read here the difference is minimal so I didn’t bother with them.
So based on that, I don’t see this making much difference.
It was literally already like that. They just removed the reputation requirement.
According to the information on Wowhead, the only requirement this item had was reputation. As the article says:
The Vessel of Profound Possibilities no longer has a reputation requirement, but instead requires:
Souls Entwined, the final quest of Chapter 7 of the Covenant Campaign to be complete (Week 5 of the Patch).
One of the following achievements: Mythic: Sepulcher of the First Ones, Shadowlands Keystone Hero: Season Three, Elite: Shadowlands Season 3.
Same, rolling 226 and few 239 myself.
That is poor wording on their part. The achievements were always required for this item, on top of the reputation.
Eh that looks like great news to me. I didn’t even get the max level conduits on any of my characters this season
