I’ll buy it, I wanted the CE but it sold out so fast. At least I can get the digital stuff from store, thanks blizz :slight_smile:

I planned on buying the mounts anyway as the CE sold out and I doubt my local Gamestop has any in stock :stuck_out_tongue:
Triggering all the Asmon fans just adds up as a bonus.

I wish they wern’t alabaster but just a normal(but properly updated) wyvern and gryphon, I’d be more inclined to maybe buy it.

I dunno who at Blizzard decided we’re not allowed to have “normal” models but often times they have to add something to ruin it.

I couldn’t find any mention of it being a limited sale. However I imagine the Deathwing mount will be limited to the event.

It is the most petty kind of flexing in existence.

Also the OP doesn’t even realize that nobody cares about what other people decide to do with their money. It’s the business practice and principle of gating items behind an existential paywall that the community dislikes, and how it’s overall bad for the game.

Honest question, would you enjoy the mount more or less if you’d get it from a mage tower-like challenge?

I’d get the same use out of it either way, depends entirley. I buy most of my ingame store items with real gold earned in-game or use them as a means to exchange gifts with friends I hold dear to me to fill in the gap so it wouldn’t make too much difference, since a mount is a mount.

If it was a limited timed appearance however, then thats something else. I.e elite armor, so on.

I think it will be like the core hound mount, and after the event is over people will complain they didn’t get it, and maybe demand it in the store.

The Core Hound mount sometimes shows up on the Black Market AH, It’s very rare to see it on there tho.
It can also drop from the Black Market Containers.

I imagine the Deathwing mount going on the Black Market AH too at some point.

Back on topic I got the new store mounts too… at first I regret my decision but the mounts grew on me and I like them now. I just hope they fix the really bad clipping issues on the horde version.
