I'm having fun as a healer main in solo shuffle

I got Duelist on both my Mistweavers each season, and I’m currently leveling a third one.
There are not enough Worgen Mistweavers in the world, I thought.

Thousands of games played, and I still like it.

I just wish there was a cap to dampening because you do feel powerless past a certain stage, but all in all, it remains a pretty positive experience and I’m enjoying the game a lot.

Congratulation on your duellist  !

Thanks. Duelist is the point where I start having ladder anxiety, stop queuing and start another alt lol.

Just don’t give up

it is intimidating to face elite
But remember that you gone that far already

Don’t worry you won’t face pro player yet at 2400 , pro are like 2700+ so you will be fine reaching 2400

I think it’s also a lack if incentive.

The Elite illusion is fire, it looks incredibly good.
The 2400 rewards? Meh.

I’d probably tryhard like the biggest sweatlord if there was a Glad mount (or a recolor) available in shuffle.
As it stands, the underwhelming tabards and weapon recolors aren’t that compelling.

It’s not only for the reward the 2400

it’s also iconic to say yourself that you did it
You see thing different when you hitted 2400 than when at 2100, it also help to see the more top ladder and see the truth of balance of pvp what is really op and what is really not by playing solo shuffle

From a healer point of view, all specializations are balanced because we’re going 3-3 every game.

If you heal a 1,8k lobby then you have your iconic “I did it!”-moment.

Tbh there is not that much of a difference. You will see more resto druids and more of specific dps classes but the worst about it: the more you climb the more you will meet same people over and over again… and it’s really not fun

What solo shuffle needs are proper rewards. And no, some re-color (be it armorskin or mount) is just not enough and definitely not some poop title which everyone has turned off by default anyway.

Such as?

Well I personally like achievements being tied to power. I know, on the forum I am in a minority but the participation numbers prove that giving everyone easy equal gear is not increasing the participation. (sure it’s not the only reason but definitely plays a roll, I mean PvP was even more alive during SL and we had tons of chores there AND gear tied to rating)
I don’t think having gear tied like in WotLK (just as an example) is bad.
I honestly have to admit I don’t know any proper solution yet but I am also not wasting my time of thinking of one since Blizz wouldn’t listen anyway (regardless how good the solution is) and I am not getting paid for it

But right now I’d personally even queue for gold. Like this random dungeon thingy when there is lack of healers or tanks.

imo i simply ask for more healer gameplay with more spec
Adding evoker heal helped to reduce the queue
if there were at least 12 spec of healer people would find their fun in gameplay to heal

I find mine so i am happy with healing but i know some people they didn’t like healer because they yet didn’t find their gameplay

Yes, PvP gold income is pathetic.

Think about it
1 000 gold per chest for healer

best source of raw gold farming everyone will want to play healer

Actually WoW healer design is very good imo, especially compared to other MMORPGs. I’d even say WoW is years ahead on this one… Sure, not every healer is op but every healer right now (except for rshaman) is quite unique and fun to play. You have HoT healers, direct heal healers, utility healers, melee healers, damage healers, mix of all this and so on…

Well maybe healing is just not for them? We have pretty much everything and many possible combinations of everything. The only way of “healing” that I am personally missing is the “absorb healer”, kinda like Disc in the end of WotLK but then again… it was beyond broken and I understand it can feel weird (or even frustrating) when people just hit someone and don’t see the hp moving because the said healer is “healing” with damage absorb spells.

I personally like the grind and I’d love to be dedicated to my main but right now there is no reason for that. I am having more fun starting new alts and gearing them. I want to play my main but I don’t see any reason for this. “Fun” alone is just not cutting it.

You could kinda make it like in PvE, basically not permanent but frequent enough. It surely doesn’t solve everything but I think it’s worth trying it as a temporary solution.

Arms warrior healer, where you charge your mates and execute their healthbar to full again

You’re kidding, but I was very serious about my Warlock Heal suggestion: Should WARLOCKS get a HEALING specialization?

Eureka ! A way to baldestorm your allies :stuck_out_tongue:

we have the role but not enought variety imo

it’s like Shadow priest and Affliction warlock, both based on some dot but they are different

what i mean is like let’s create a healer gameplay fast :
A healer spec that much press spell to charge a bar and with different spender of that bar to burst heal

at first thought you can think of a holy paladin healing
but i thought in a way of like elemental shaman form of gameplay to heal

Hm well… the variety is there actually. You want just a different design but I guess most people will find the resource thingy you mention fun in the start btu in the long run it’s gonna be either just pure stress to manage it or completely faceroll and broken. Kinda like Aug Evoker atm.
Imo this goes for all games: Rather have less specs but better balance among these specs

It’s not a great system as it makes no sense to make it harder to climb raiting because people at higher ratings on top of being better players also have better gear. :dracthyr_shrug:

Nobody says it has to be an insane power difference and I’d argue the power difference in SL was quite high, yet the participation was way better.
People need a reason to actually try and commit. Right now they have literally none.
