I'm so tired of rigged loot rng

I wonder why Blizzard hasn’t changed it and isn’t being forthcoming about it, given that the feedback is pretty one-sided I would say.

It would seem like an easy win for them, but maybe they have some ulterior motives for not adopting personal loot again.

Well ever since they admitted that they rigged our quest item drops on each quest like right at the start of vanilla, I’m not surprised at anything. They stated that when you need like 10 pig ears, you’ll have a much smaller drop chance when you have zero, and your chances go higher when you are closer to completing the quest, just so you wouldn’t abandon it.
So ye I’m pretty sure everything else is rigged too to make you play longer.

Think when a chest has a large pool of drops some player choice should be introduced and have it similar to the Great Vault where you can pick one item from a random selection of 3.

I haven’t even completed the main story, don’t care about high iLvl gear, to bad of a player for bugging people in endgame content :kissing_closed_eyes:

RNG code is mostly never single coded, especially not in a software as big as WoW.
RNG code is physically incabable of being compared to true randomness like throwing dice or coins or whatnot.
If you alter RNG code to be more even, you are basically rigging it and moving it away from RNG. So might aswell just make a check what gear is missing and generate that to the drop.
it is impossible to give everyone the same amount of chances with an RNG system.

It
Just
Can’t
Work
Physically

That’s the downside of virtualiy vs reality: Codes are restricted to the physical limitations of computing units (CPUs/GPUs), whereas throwing a dice is only restricted by the laws of physics directly, without another step inbetween.

Ther will allways be at least one individual who will have a long streak of fails with RNG code.

Allways
with
every
RNG system in existence.

Nothing anyone can do against that.
It is physically impossible to prohibit something like this without rigging the RNG and therefor rendering it useless.

You can throw a tantrum in your room as much as you want, it won’t change the limitations of such systems.

:dracthyr_tea:

This. I have had a mix of drops from delves and it hasn’t felt wrong. My priest vault only having weapons in it is another matter, but its rng, it happens.

Oh I didn’t mean I was gone forever.

I was just heading out to go play D&D with my friends.

Hear hear.
Progression should take at least a third of a season or something, imo.

lmao people are still saying loot is not rigged.

Just did a weekly box thingy on one of my alt got the same veteran trinket I did on the very same character last week. Literally 14 other pieces are blue on the character yet the game finds the same item over again. How can you not see the rigging it is so obvious.

lol this is getting better.

I just did another weekly on another alt and gave me the same boots it did last week. Same as the other character. 14 items blue gave the same item over again. That one item that is veteran and not an upgrade.

I have screenshot of both alts if anyone interested.

oke you won’t believe this. I ran an experiment following the events of 2 of my alts getting same items from the weeklies.

3rd alt again 2 veteran item out of 16 (14 are blue). did weekly got the same item I did last week. This time I even recorded it and guessed what item will be in the box.

This is way too coincidencial at this point.

Did you get a lot of that when the delves were a lot easier?

But every item doesn’t have to correspond to only one number.
Say you did roll 1-200 four times, it doesn’t mean you rolled 80 every time, you could just as well have rolled 60, 72, 80, and 69, which would all correspond to the same item.
We don’t know. What we do know is that you got unlucky (or Blizzard is specifically out to get you and you alone)

It was just an example to make it easier to understand why getting the same item is extremely difficult in real situation. it is like rolling the same number out of a pool of let’s say 200 4 times in a row which is extremely low.

I never siad that is how it works in this game.

Stop paying then

But “extremely difficult” doesn’t mean "won’t ever happen.
You flip a coin 20 times and it lands on heads 20 times is extremely unlikely to happen, but not impossible. You roll a d20 x number of times and it lands on 20 every time while extremely unlikely to happen doesn’t make it impossible,

You got unlucky, we’ve all been there, live with it

what part did you not understand that I’m keep getting the same item on every character all the time? It did not happen just once. And I know this happens to awfully lot of people.

Even just couple hours ago I did weeklies on 3 alts which suspiciously got the same items they did previous week. I have screenshot of all 3. one of them even recorded video of where I guessed what will be in the box.

The exact same part that you apparently don’t get: low chance doesn’t mean no chance, it means low.

You got the same item 5 times in a row just means you got unlucky. Did you get more unlucky than most other people? Yes, but unless your argument is that Blizzard is out to get you specifically then that is what it is.

By your logic I should be going around claiming Blizzard is specifically out to help me and only me because I haven’t gotten a single duplicate item from delves - and you may think that, but I don’t

just like in Monster Hunter, the game has “want meter” the more you want item the less you are going to get it

Not just about delve

Are you really doing this or not like not understanding it? Every box I open has the same items. I opened weeklies on 3 different alts that got the same 1-1-1 items they did previous week while there was a chance to get anything else but tehy did not. The game intentionally rolled the exact same 1 item that is not an upgrade out of all the possible item.

My priest got same boots it did previous week. My warlock got the same weapon it did previous week and my rogue got the same trinket it did previous week. This is not coincidence. They could have gotten ANYTHING else that would have been an upgrade but they did not.

I think that by now you’re just gonna have to accept that Blizzard is out to get you and cut your losses

I’m trying to bring awareness to loot being suspiciously rigged but people keep ignoring it. It is crazy.

I’ve done them solo only. So I didn’t partake in the group steamrolling of early week 1.

I did runs throughout week 1, before hot fixes, after, etc.
Mainly focussing on t7. I only did 1 t8 last week, near the end of it, just to see how it was.
I did exclusively t8 runs this week.

Only thing I haven’t seen drop yet is a chest piece.
But I have a 8/8 adventurer tier set piece (606 ilvl) for that slot, so I’m good for now. Got plenty of upgrading to do for my other slots and I don’t want to break up the set bonus. If I get a champ or hero tier chest, then I’ll swap it out ofc.

That’s because they don’t share your experience. Which means we’re once again back at either a: you are unlucky, or b: blizzard just doesn’t think you deserve anything but that trinket and those boots
