I'm thinking about doing PvP for the Great Vault rewards

…aaand it’s only rated PvP, nevermind.

Another lost opportunity for a costumer to play more of your game.

Blizzard, let help me help you, enable the honor for the Great Vault rewards to be done from unranked PvP.

U have honor gear for that.

I dont wanna sound mean, but if there will be random bg vault reward, let there then be rhc dungeon vault reward too…
Because why not?

There’s a large gap in difficult between random battlegrounds and heroic dungeons, you can loose in the first at least.

I think the idea is to reward players for engaging in organized, competitive endgame content. And WoW has 3 aspects of that - Raiding, Mythic+ Dungeons, and Rated PvP.

It seems fine. Play a dozen Rated Arena and you’ll likely get your item.

But even if u lose u get honor, not all, but u still get reward.

If, even in rhc, your tank leaves and your groups fails to find another, u quit, without loot, without reward.

Point is, those weekly rewards, are in place for some guaranteed upgrade after u put efort acros whole week, and gear is based on difficulty, and lets be fair, there realy isnt any difficulty in rbg, its 50/50 wheter u get good team or not.

Playing rated arenas to reach 1600 in BfA to get a R3 BiS Essence for my class was the most miserable experience i had in this game, just the thought of doing them again hurts my mind.

If only rated arena would not allow covenant abilities and PVE abilities.

You don’t need any rating though. You just need to earn Honor. You can do Rated Battlegrounds as well.
But of course, if it has no interest, then just ignore it. Do what you enjoy.

Really doesn’t matter if i win or lose, rated PvP it’s a miserable experience for me, Battlegrounds could be better but my Guild doesn’t do them and i don’t have 9 friends to pull out of my pockets to do them with.

I beg the question: Can you really ignore it? Getting 3 more options of loot is very desirable, specially considering i want the gear because i like feeling my character progressing and getting stronger, and doing things on the content that interest me which is PvE.

There are so many threads made by PvP tryhards complaining about doing PvE, now it’s my turn to complain about having to do PvP in order to succeed more in PvE.
I don’t wanna feel forced to do content i don’t enjoy just so i don’t lose potential rewards. That’s it. I enjoy being rewarded and achieving goals, and there’s a ‘rated’ barrier between me obtaining rewards and achieving said goals, and that is impeding me from enjoying the game more, you understand?

I barely ever bothered with the Weekly Chest in BfA. So yes, you can.
If your approach to the game lies within that group of content like Random Battlegrounds, Heroic Dungeons, and LFR, then you can still have an excellent sense of character progression, even if you’re not getting a weekly epic. I’ve found that to be the case in my game experience at least.

With her voice have you spoken?

no offense but if you want the gear then put the effort into it.

when pvp people complain they have to pve in order to get somewhat decent gear then its quite justified given how things worked in the past. pve people are being catered enough to already i think its unfair, if not ridiculous even, wanting pvp rewards cater to your pve needs just because you want an additional option to choose from.

you are not forced into anything. you will be perfectly fine ignoring pvp and “lose out on” the additional choice.

how about pvp people feeling pressured to raid and do m+ to get their choices they “will lose out on”? ever thought about that?

I completed a 9 key and a few lower ones and killed 8 bosses in Narthia, is that enough effort or only rated PvP is true effort?

Is it that ridiculous to ask for unranked PvP to count towards extra rewards? I’ve invested a lot of time into PvE rewards, i wish i didn’t had to go through the stress of rated PvP to unlock a few more options of rewards.

Yes, dozens of times because i am constantly reminded of it in the forums.

On topic: By no means does one “need” the PvP Vault. Unless you are in a Mythic Progression guild there’s really no reason to min-max that much. If you get fun per hour from random PvP, just do it

And i happen to be in one. I was having issues finding playing time in the first two weeks and didn’t got lucky on the drops of the raid, thought to myself to do some PvP to get more options in the vault to help catch up with guildies but eh, rated PvP only, guess i prefer to be behind.

Well if you are then your guild should really provide support for those gearing paths tbh. It’s not a game issue, but an a-group-of-people-want-you-to-have-certain-gear issue. If they finished their PvP gearing, which they cannot have since well conquest only just came out, then again it’d be not a game issue but a simple you weren’t there for it issue.

If you for those things, you will be rewarded with several choices of loot already. You will likely not choose the pvp reward for pve anyway because of low ilvl. So you are fine as is.

Can one only choose 1 item from all of the Vault?
Ie say I did 4 M+ so I get 2 choices there, one from highest m+ key and 1 with ilvl of 4th highest. And then also killed 3 Raidbosses and earned 1250 honor from Rated PvP. I can only take 1 item, not 3 - one per “path”?

Can I ask why you need rated gear if you’re not playing rated?

Yes, just one item.
