there is no innocent in my book .
I really would like to have an option to not kill animals. Tired of kill X, slaughter X, kill other beings…seriously, there are more creative ways to implement and replace killing overall.

It’s got to be brutal! 
The DragonFlight centaurs take this to another level. All their hunts are “Oh gee whiz… There seems to be animals in that field, how about you go and annihilate all of them!” and its not even “bring back their pelts or meat”
nope, its just go and slaughter them!

Yeah, I’m with you on this one. Senseless slaughter isn’t fun when you play certain characters or have certain mindset.
Unfortunately, majority doesn’t care, least of all Blizz themselves. So just zone out while doing these quests, I guess.

I am going to ruin your day even more here …
A ton of those quests that make you kill XYZ… turns out that you have to kill some Raptors which are called “Raptor Mothers” … and arround them are 4-5 mini raptors called “Raptor Babies”.
And if you target the mother, the babies will atack you. Or you kill them by mistake with all this automatic AoE most classes have.
And to make it worse, those babies also count towards the mission objectives… So its even more efficient to murder the babies and loot their corpses…
We are genocidal maniaks. That is what WoW is…
Did they drop something nice atleast? 
Well… you needed raptor hearts…
And most did not have one…
So I guess they are robots ???
One Raptor Baby dropped a rad 2-handed mace …
When doing these quests I concentrate on the lone animals, or small groups. I avoid the ones that have young with them. That way the rp side of me can justify it as culling the old and the weak.
Unless I am on my warlock alt, in which case everything dies!

Can’t you just like, not do those quests?
But if you want to continue the quest chain you do have to. You can’t have the pudding if you don’t eat the meat.

Well wow isnt set in a modern era. So theres is no costco or whatever store to get their biologically farmed halal raptor hearts from.
whats the problem here? Centaurs are supposed to be brutal savages beings wich destroy everything. In fact centaurs in DF were to nice and kind to everyone. Come on blizz where is the cannibalism?
Skip those quests.
If this is not practical then do it on an alt, Rogue perhaps (their moral stances tend to be a bit more flexible).
If that’s not practical make amends by donating to the RSPCA or similar.
Its a videogame.
I play a lot of Doom but I’ve yet to go out and shoot a very large pink shaved gorilla in the face with a double barreled shotgun when I turn the game off.

You can also lvl up with herb and mining so at the end you can obtain those items via Ah without killing those Innocent items.
But you’re killing the plants!! Won’t anyone think of the plants!

That or do pvp. You don’t really kill anyone there anyway.
