There are people around saying Mecha Gnomes are a bad idea, and the people saying this pay Light Forged Dranei. Imagine playing the worst Allied Race in the game and then saying Mecha Gnomes are bad.

I like to imagine being on a realm that has more creative and enjoyable roleplay produced by pretty awesome people. I’m pretty greedy.

An “Alt” I really don’t think alts matter in AD, plus Horde is better so why would I have a main Alliance character? Gnomes are the only thing making me play Alliance

I assume you mean role playing them.

The main issue there would be with role playing a Mechagnome, is that it is hard to do right and very easy to do wrong, with a lot of potential pit falls.

But, yes, they are indeed a thing lore wise, so if you can find a plausible reason as to why a Mechagnome would be around outside of a Titan facility and you can pull off role playing one properly, which, as said, admittedly isn’t exactly the easiest thing to do right, no one ought to have a problem with people role playing one.

But I guess, unfortunately, there will always be self-righteous, self-proclaimed champions of good role play elitists, who think they got a divine call with an unrestricted license to bring justice over those who break the head canon they convinced them self is better and more correct than what is actually the official WoW lore.

Edit!: Not sure if I misunderstood this, would this actually be a discussion about Mechagon Gnomes as allied race and not actual Mechagnomes?

I do feel a much cooler/better option would to make leper Gnomes be an allied race, the Alliance clowns on Gnomes way too much. I feel Gnomes need to experience the Horde

Factually true, an astounding number of roleplayers are actually homosexual or some variation thereof. It’s a fascinating trend that seems intertwined with RP.
