I do think repair bills and mog fees are too high.
Doing the Bee quest last week for Janky Candles I ended up paying roughly 2,000g (I did need to do a spirit res at one point as I died in the cave with my gear all red so needing repair).
I mogged this set a few days ago for 450g, this is questing rewards and some DF 463s still.
While I still have loas of gold these prices are beyond a fun level. These should cap out at a certain limit.
Repairs should cap at 300g.
Mogs should cap at 100g.
Several WQs grand 800 gold, the weekly events 1.8k or something like that, just selling some reagents (and cleverly buying/selling on the AH) can grant you significant amounts for very little effort, selling the crappy gear you get from Delves grant a couple hundred per week, etc, etc. You can herb while mounting per default nowā¦and so forth and so forth.
Even with the repair costs (way too high), transmog costs (ridiculously high), and so forthā¦the passive income from said events and methods grant more than enough to cover everything and lead to a gain every week.
I personally donāt see an issue, and I donāt go out of my way to farm gold either.
Transmog cost is definitely way too high atleast. why force a bad feeling along with the good feeling of mogging your character ? mogging is an expression, something that people enjoy putting together and seeing the result. its just ridiculous that we are forced to swallow this reluctant feeling every single time we pull up the transmog window.
its like saying āāsure, you can eat those pistacios you earned⦠but you have to eat the shells with it.āā
when Blizzard allows an external audit on this function, then I will believe it. ATM it is hidden. Blizzard has a CEO who has a legal responsibility to improve profits where ever they can. There is a huge conflict of interest in your statement
When just one, just one, failed M+ run can cost you nearly a grand those gains you describe amount to peanuts i am afraid.
Have the failed Dart Spriter costume from SL that you like but is buggy and wont stay on? That costs serious money to fix per week.
The costume came with the 6 month sub back in SL. I love the costume but it is a seriously buggy POS and back in the day it was prone to disappear entirely from your account or pieces of it would go missing. Chasing this down was not a nice experience for people at all.
Am u to just keep paying 100g a pop every time i change character or everytime i amdone with a dungeon cos their buggy costume is so far down the we will fix it list it will never get done?
Why do mogs cost anything at al? Tis crap should be free. Why are we paying gold for that at all?
