WoW what a fun the “blizz” put it back one of the rarest mounts… The “Imperial Quilen”…
Basically this one was the glorious mount who bought the pandaria delux edition, and now “blizz” Backstab! those players who bought at that time and now everybody can get it and this wont be a rare and epic mount anymore. Clap clap clap clap!!!
In this case put back “Tyrael’s Charger” in the shop!
When the diablo was in pre order and you subscribed for 12 month after then you could get it. If your subscribe was expired for 1 minute then your sub was failed and lost it (gamecard fail forever).
Well if we could get back Imperial Quilen, why dont we get the tcg/tgc mounts as well? And all of them from the past, include the zulian tiger put in the shop (and not in the black market)?
Basically those mounts still rare, so its time to put in the shop them in this case…
You can already get the WoD Deluxe edition mount (Blue bird), as well as the Legion one (Felstalker). TCG mounts were from limited codes. Quilen, is not. At the end of the day it is merely a bonus you got from a deluxe edition, and you’ve had exclusivity on it since 2012, so that’s about 8 years. For cashing out a few more euros for a deluxe edition. I don’t particularly see the problem here. I understand your concern, but I don’t think comparing a deluxe edition mount to one that was actually limited in quantity is a good idea.
Because those stuff are still being sold on ebay for ridiculous prices. Blizzard just realized that just like in the cash for gold market they might as well get some revenue instead of letting it all go to a third party.
The people who are bound to lose the most are those trying to sell sealed copies of the collector’s edition for $500.
Well, actually if you check the old article when Bizzard announce Pandaria Digital Deluxe will be removed it said:
“If you already own the standard edition of Mists of Pandaria and are interested in upgrading, you can head over to your [account management page] to do so now. The Digital Deluxe edition might come back out of the archive in the future, but even the jinyu waterspeakers don’t know if or when.”
So that means people who bought Pandaria Digital Deluxe edition has no right to complain. Unlike previous collector editions and TGC that was no longer sold in limited quantity, and yes, it was removed but it was clearly announced that it could return. You could like it or not, but legally Blizzard has not break their tems with Pandaria Digital Deluxe edition.
Blizzard has no need to care about those people, the ones who sell and buy collector’s editions on Ebay are not Blizzard’s costumer. Blizzard has no obligation to keep those ebay sellers profitable and for Blizzard’s point of view that it is just a nocive market that profit at Blizzard’s cost, it is better for Blizzard to destroy that market by selling themselves the mounts.
Well, you are wrong, people buy old CE’s, TGC cards and Blizzacon codes for in-game rewards. In fact with CE’s the price drop considerably from WOD onwards because everyone is able to buy the reward in digital edition, so only those interested in the physical edition will buy it and even for them it is cheaper to buy the digital code for the mount directly to Blizzard and buy an used physical edition without code.
I’m sorry, I honestly don’t know what to say about that. Obviously part of the reason it sold on ebay before is that the mount/pet were exclusive. Not the only reason of course.
Personal taste is a thing. Some people may not find those so ugly. And when you’re selling a CE for $500 you don’t need many customers.
Well, you can againts those things, that wont change the fact those things already exits and there is second hand market for that. What exits can not stop existing, so the only things Blizzard could do is just nothing and let ebay reseller profit at their cost or fight againts them by selling themselves those things.
Some CE could be bought at 500€ today on Ebay, that those not means it always was sold at that price. Usually those things were sold just a little more that it’s retail price, but the thing with those editions is that in include an single use code for the rewards. So, as time goes on the number of copies available decrease and that it was make the price increase. Vanilla CE or TBC CE could be sold at 500€, but that it is because it was released 15 years ago, when I bought TBC CE in 2008 I don’t remember paying more than 100€, for an edition with a retail price of 80€.
