[important] combat rework and character feels

So rn the combat in WoW is like, you press a button and animation is being casted without actually feeling it… the damage numbers usually pop before animation is finished.

I had an idea that could have huge impact on combat and character feels, it would add so much flavor to the game. Could u help me to reach the WoW devs so they can discuss these changes:

  • Instead of saying “Out of range” make player follow the target and stop at the appropriate range.
  • When players hit non-(rare, elite, boss) mob, they push it a little bit so the combat will not feel like pressing a button and casting animation, but actually will feel impactful.
  • I love the in-combat state of character animations (when u right click a mob) I would love to see the option to change the character stances in the transmog NPC. It would be cool to have many more idle animations.

I have my damage numbers disabled. It makes combat much more immersive when you don’t have numbers popping all over the screen.

Like guardian and feral druid’s interrupt, you mean? It moves you into melee range even if there’s a damage effect going out that will one-shot you. I believe monk has/had something like this as well, and people were very unhappy about the number of times they died to it.

What does this even mean?
