How do you join a mythic+ group?
Tried 3 hours tonight but declined all the way.
I tried to join M+ 6-8 but nothing on this char.
Maybe you tell me to make an own group but I can’t as I have no mythic stones.
Some were writing(You will be Rio scanned)and some wrote(Will check progression).
These kind of so called addons will destroy this game.
I have 1 other char which is ilvl 384 but it was the same.
Thought this is a game for everyone but it seems to only be for those who have much gold which I do not have.
The most I have is 55k on one char and I have played since WOTKL.
I have no idea how people can make more that 1 million gold in this game.
Please let me know how you can join M+ dungeons and also how to make lot of gold.
Getting started in M+ in the time of Rio is somewhat of a nightmare, but it can be done.
Since you’re in Silvermoon, which is an extremely high populated realm, it’s also a good idea to make sure someone from less densely populated realms is in your group. This will allow your run to register which would otherwise wouldn’t for your realm because the list has limited slots and it’s satured with higher runs.
And above all else, realize that some people will always be morons. I’ve done upwards to M14 and M15 in season 1 but as soon as season 2 started there were people who would deny me wwhile having an average ilvl of 385. And they were going to do a +5. You can’t do anything about them, they’re just trying to get an easy run to compensate for their own lack of competence.
A M+ 6-8 now is the equivalent of 9-11 in season one. In season two the dungeons are harder but the rewards are better too.
Blizzard have made gear pretty much irrelevant so people don’t really invite based on your ilvl. That’s why raider io score is so popular.
If you have no score then start with lower level keys and build it up. If you have no key then just run a normal mythic dungeon and get a key. Even a +2 drops 375 gear now so it can still be rewarding for you to do the lower keys.
There are communities you can join to help you find people to do m+ with which might make it easier.
Run a mythic 0 and you’ll get a key. That’s what I did, despite never even running a mythic at all until then. There are plenty of people willing to go, it took me no time at all to get a group formed.
After that you can start pushing your own key, then you can make your own rules. I guarantee you people will join.
As a DPS you are in the most common role and thus you must have high ilvl as well or moreover - high raider io score and this is true since beginning of M+. To solve this you have:
Play also as protection Paladin, maybe even holy.
Use your own key and establish scores for every dungeon, then improve them by running higher - and get a baseline M+ score for your character
Run high keys in a guild group
There is a lot of people that want to PUG M+ but have no skill nor knowledge to even do a simple mechanic or interrupt rotation. As M+ is more “annoying” than Legion there is even higher need to differentiate bad players for good players in M+ PUGs. When you don’t have M+ records for this toon no one knows if you actually can play it and if you actually know dungeons. It’s way from perfect, but it is what it is.
The issue with raider io is that is recording just the best 500 runs so unless you can do m+ early in the week, on a high pop server there is a fairly good chance that the low key run to start gearing up won’t even be recorded, so you’re stuck in the same spot.
I’m on a low pop server, and last saturday on half of the key the entry level was a +6.
Unless you have your guild group it’s much simpler to give up and switch to prot to run M+.
It’s not instant join all the time because everyone wants DK tanks for high keys but as prot you can easily join a +8 and it’s much easier than healing.
I’ve spent 0 gold so far to join dungeon groups and i have no issues joining +15s.
