Hi. If I am not wrong greater fade can also avoid incoming cc if that is true, I need to know when a caster for example casts a fear against me or a polymorph. Which one would you suggest?
I have also seen an addon for arena where there is a voice that informs Do you about abilities being cast. Do you know how is it called?
Greater Fade to avoid incoming things works only as Shadow and Holy Priest, and u have to skill it in ur PvP tree.
The addon u mean is called GladiatorLossa2.
Or you can just have Gladius and exercice yourself to either look constantly at what the enemy is casting either on Gladius or on the play field. Since you are the one who did the thread about you being bad and unaware in arenas, you shouldn’t try to have an addon play the game for you in every aspect if you plan on improving. General awareness includes knowing what’s up, what spells are being cast, and from where.
After playing alote in arena skirmishes, I am still confused if improved fade can avoid incoming cc. For example I see a mage casting a cc against me can I click improved fade to avoid it?
Yes. Count it like a buble, or vanish. But u have to stop casting offensive spells. Thats the most common mistake where u press fade and straight after u dot someone or purge or cc, it will cancel the “evade” effect.
that is also a good one. So fade does not protect from kick type of effects? Which classes/spells needs to monitor then? Is there a detailed guide for greater fade, holy word and concetration?
Regards
Alex
P.S Funny bit, yesterday before falling asleep I recognized that I need to keep track of my holy fire dots… If one of those are active my fade will be still cancelled.
-Improved fade made you dodge everything (spell / melee / Cc) except the interrupts.
-It is canceled by “hostile action”. Like fearing, doting, casting an offensive spell.
-It will not be cancel if one of your dot is already out and ticking.
Try to use Fade to counter imminent Cc, reposition yourself. (Like for exemple, you just get kicked on Holy, fades, run away for safety, then restart to cast)
And Concentration when the kick is becoming lethal. You’re in a bad position, have to spam some heals. Concentration to be sure to not be interrupted. (and fade if there is still a Cc out there waiting for you)
4 god mod sec.
Hm… so if I understand you right. The combo of fade and concentration makes me nearly immune to casting greater heal? Yes or No? What it can still interrupt this?
I just tried with a Shaman and bumps don’t get through Greater Fade.
So I still think Greater Fade + Concentration get you totaly immune to everything.
