In-combat bug

During combat, you will not be able to use mount, casting gates spell, teleport spells ( For mages ) and etc…
The reason why is clear. Because it’s either killing the mob/player or die. You want to escape? Escape by running away.
But sometimes a bug happens and you are stuck in-combat ev
But sometimes a bug happens and you are stuck in-combat even when there is no mobs or players chasing you. No matter what you do, you are stuck in this state, unable to ride your mount, unable to cast a teleport spell, and if you are way to unfortunate, this will happens when you are either in Nazjatar or mechagon and you want to get to a rare before the crowd of players kill it. Which happened to be my state before typing this topic.
So… what should blizzard do? I would like to suggest that players in-combat should be able to use the non-combat skills, spells, mounts, etc…
You will ask now “What would be the point of being in combat or out of it?”
Well, in case you are in combat and you want to mount up. Mounting up will take longer time to cast than out of it. Meaning mounting up will take 5 seconds in combat and 2 seconds out of combat. The same goes with the others. Of course blizzard can make the casting time longer.
But that won’t get you out of combat. So i suggest something else If you weren’t in a hurry.

But that won’t get you out of combat. It will just make things takes a longer time. That what you will think about if blizzard applied my suggestion and you weren’t in hurry to catch up a rare or something else. So here i suggest something else alongside the first suggestion.
If your character was in combat for like 5 minutes and neither you or your pets ( In case you had one ) didn’t get any hit, parry, or miss attack. ( In case you are OP and doing molten core where mobs can’t even damage you for 1HP ) And you weren’t attacking any mob nor your friend/group mate taunting something ( You got my idea ) then the system should get you out of combat automatically.
This will fix the problem and you will not have to cast your hearthstone and spend minutes to return to where you were.

So what is your thoughts about the suggestions?

Have you described cases of you being stacked in perma combat to CS, btw?

Combat bug is fixed soon™. I think that’s what they said in 2004.

For me shadowmeld does not work with this bug, only shutting the game down makes me leave combat. Had it a couple of times, its annoying.

This (through the taskmanager) or getting yourself killed both works.

Killing all the critters around you should probably help to get out of combat.

Helps in most cases yes

I find pressing Escape or clicking on myself sometimes removes the problem and allows me to mount etc. Not always though.
