So I’m thinking about making an alt for when next week arrives, when we should hopefully start to clear the heroic raid a bit quicker (taking a full week due to wipes/learning/replacing people, was a lot longer than I expected).
So I was wondering what, from what you’ve seen & heard, which classes are more in demand at this moment in time? Is there always something that your raid group was missing/needing at short notice, or were in essence waiting for a specific class overall?
I’m interesting to see if it’s all the same or a mix!
I know from my experience throughout the whole of the pugging heroic, it was always a Warlock most of the time and randomly a Monk.
Didn’t you want to stick to one character? I’ve felt the temptation too, but I know I’d burn myself out. So it’s just Life for me, and if I have nothing to do, I play something else, make music, etc - something other than WoW!
If you do want to play an alt, play the opposite of what you usually play, like a ranged dps or a healer. Or an Evoker, for something entirely different.
I was sticking to one character, but once the heroic raiding can be done within day, I’ll pretty much have nothing much to do until the next reset, as I did all delves, m0 and such on Wednesday and then normal raid and 7/8 heroic, which was the longest I’ve ever spent trying to get a raid completed, even original MC or BWL never took that long xD
Gave up trying to get Queen Ansurek done before reset. Just too many people lying their way into heroic raids and failing at every single turn.
Anyway, just keep my options open for making a single alt to jump back and forth too over the course of the expansion
Well, probably supply and demand, so whatever class is rarest in general, as you probably want to cover as many class abilities as possible in a raid. So… I guess Monk is gonna be in very high demand. Is there a site that shows statistics on this? That’d answer your question directly.
Normally it’s websites like raiderio & warcraftlogs give some indication, but in week 1, it’s not really accurate. Once M+ arrives next week, we’ll get a better idea as a lot of people will be rerolling their mains to whatever was used in the RWF guilds to beat bosses and people trying to copy the 0.1% of the M+ high key runners.
So normally a month or so we’ll get to see more accurate statistics. Of course, this is all pulled from addons as Blizzard never publishes any of this information.
