In-Game Shop confusion

I’m not a little frustrated by Blizzard policies on what can and cannot be purchased through the in-game shop. I live in New Zealand, we moved here six years ago. Prior to that we were playing on WoW-EU realms and still like to do so. We’ve invested a lot of time on characters, and have no interest in using WoW Oceania or WoW-US as we would have to start everything from scratch, including purchasing everything again, plus this is a good way to keep in touch with our guildmate friends.
It seems we can purchase Character Transfers, in-game items, Faction/Race/Name and Guild changes. But we cannot purchase a character boost.

Why is the Character boost option blocked?

It’s due undisclosed reasons unfortunately, which you can see from the previous thread below.

You can however link the thread’s official response here:

And open up a ticket to discuss your options with CS.

Other players that succesfully managed to buy a boost had to load up the balance initially and then grant permission to CS to buy a boost with the topped up balance. However I recommend contacting them first.

Thank you Saneko, we appreciate the response. I think a weekend of old-school levelling with my husband will be in order instead. :joy:
