In memoriam of the Dalaran and Shrine portals. R.I.P

Im just doing Horde Expedition & Silvermoon reps now…thats slow enough but no portals waaaaaahhh

There is a little trick you can do with Throne of Thunder.

You fly to the Vale of Eternal Blossoms and queue for the LFR version of Throne of Thunder. Once you’re inside you use the Beacon of the Kirin Tor toy, which will teleport you to the hub on the Isle of Thunder. Now you simply leave the LFR instance and you’ll be on the Isle of Thunder - a minute away from the instance.

But this feature is good for mages: their portals will be necessary again. And as for me I don’t use this boring things and prefer traditional ways for travelling.

maybe because u have only one char?..
i have 13 so its huge pain to fly with them every god damn time since now they hsve such a long way

I’m not even impressed by the new portal room, it looks like a keep corridor shrugs

True. Also we have to run up and down looking for our portals which are artfully hidden, while the Horde can see all theirs (well, the pitiful few that are left) immediately and run straight to them.

Horde favouritism, I say!!!

I havent even checked the portal room.

Im not excited for it, and if they wanted to make a portal room, they could at least put SOME effort into it, and given us all portals.

Me too. I find the swim from Tanaris to Kun-Lai quite invigorating!

Yeah. All the mages that found a port to CoT in their books will have a blast. So will the 2 wielders of Atiesh that still play and can create a portal to Karazhan.

Love when this increasing metric measure is interpreted as being favorable to mages, while they don’t have portals to half of the location previously reachable by portals. Sancta simplicitas…
