The First 14sec of Ardenweald cinematic is how people want to feel while they play Guardian druid but instead, we have this very audiovisually anemic gameplay of a bear whos best action is an imitation of a Mexican wave
Guardian skills donât feel impactful 99% of the time and the only fun ability to press is Stampeding Roar while other abilities are just paw swipes.
For example, Thrash is just a bit bigger Swipe so itâs clear how âcreativeâ people were when designing the skill kit⌠they just copied skill because reasons
Instead of Thrash, we could have e.g. ground shattering ability where the bear stands up and smashes the ground furiously roaring, and it wold deal AoE damage. Add juicy sounds to the ground smash and roar and there you go.
Itâs really not hard to be a bit creative
and idk, maybe update the models so theyâre more inline with the updated graphic cards youâre trying to shove down peopleâs throats. Over 80% of WoW is like spending $2000 on a gaming computer to play tetris.
Itâs like woah, those specs are quite big. This game must be amazing. You load into the Barrens where you see what resembles Nintendo 64 textures, and the druid forms are older than your grandmas spaghetti meatball recipe.
Honestly they all look ridiculous, apart from the Kul Tiran/Zandalari ones of course. Itâs not just the bear forms either. I think all of them could do with a touch up

Iâd love some visual updates for guardian druid, since Iâve been maining it throughout Nyaâlotha. Really looking forward to SL allowing me to use mage tower cat form while in guardian spec, so thatâs a good start.
A visual overhaul would be nice. Making guardian druid not bottom tier tank would also be nice. Since warrior took that spot for Shadowlands, Guardian is only 5/6 in rankings! Weâre slowly climbing that ladder back to the top!
Well they had to put us there after people whined so hard that we were amazing throughout Legion ,saying that i seen some do 20âs and do all mythic Nya no problem .
We could do with some tweaks but they have to look natural and not some gimmick to please the âtwitchâ generation .
Well every class can do every content, hell guardian druid is probably pretty high regarding survivability, because heâs great at phys mitigation. So for high keys, guardian can even be considered good. Still it feels pretty bad to play the worst anything in the game, be it dps, heal or tank.
I mean thereâs almost 10 times as many Brewmaster Monk Nâzoth kills logged than guardian druids (>4500 vs 496). Itâs kinda hurtful.
