I feel like everyone may be getting too excited too fast. Am I the only one reading in Blizzard’s message that only future DDoS-related deaths would be subject to potential resurrection? I find it a little bit ambiguous.
- Die on hardcore server.
- Order Ddos attack on servers.
- Make a qq video i leave for that reason
- Blizz revives previously dead characters, which should stay dead by server rules.
- Profit.

- You can’t know in advance when you die to order ddos attack exactly at that time. And blizzard will see ddos attack start AFTER you dead - why they should revive u if u died earlier?
- I dont even want to talk about cost of effective ddos attack to blizzard server. I will just say that it’s much easier to buy hc 60lvl account then to order ddos attack. Yes, buying account is now allowed by blizzard rules and with some chance (in fact, very low chance) can get you banned in game, but ddos attack can get you punished not only in game, but also in real life because it’s a crime.

What happend if u move the character to new server, before we get the message of maybe rollback? becuase of ddose
have only move character to new server, but never play on the new server yet.

Thats not how it work, characters that die only in exact period of time and only if they was disconnected.
Everyone who made hardcore charactets accepted a “rule” that characters cannot be ressurected by any means. Let it be server problem ect. Sofar no other game who had hardcore option (and online game) do this as far as i know.
If blizzard go againts that point, and make exceptions, then hardcore lose its point. Thus my previous comment.

Only in game time or own internet problem must be matter. Server problems is not player side, its like GMs randomly deside to teleport your character at high and ‘fall death’ you, and you like “ok, thats fine”.
No, only your fault in game, or at least your personal PC problems.
And there is no any “rules”, literally, Blizzard create rules from head, they literally can do what ever f they want.
WoW was never desing for HC. They already resurrected people on ‘old’ HC Stitches server, back then.
Acutally need DC (disconnect) protect, like 25~ second of ‘petri’ (without you CDs (spells) resotre), so if you lost internet connection, you have that time to log in from other device that already prepered, after you lost internet or pc-crash, from laptop with other internet connection or something.
HC must be only about in game lose, death, skill issue.
After server crash, and you can do, is just roll back time to a certain time.
Original HC addon, had a DC-death appeal system.
In PoE HC, if you DC you instant teleport at home, and people didnt have any problems with that, people still dying all the time.

The proof is the mere fact that they were deleted instead of locked, and you were banned for posting them. Do you honestly believe they don´t have logs of what you posted and what you didn’t?

This is somthing in the realms between an urban myth and a fluke. Some were maybe rezzed, but not everybody.
I know beyond any doubt because I had a toon die in that purge, and he was never rezzed, but stayed as a ghost on Stitches for a long time.
I would have promptly deleted him if he was rezzed, btw, as I do not think rezzes for any reason belong on a HC server.
