Using Incapacitating Roar as a Resto Druid in mythic+ causes me to pull agrro off the tanks most of the time, specially if used on the Ascendant affixes. Im assuming this is a bug as the tooltip says nothing about aggro? I opened many tickets and bug reports but as usual blizzard never reply or acknowledge. I cant find anyone complaining online so is this a thing or just me?
I believe this is caused by Bear Form’s in built threat generation bonus.
If you have HoTs out on the party, or DoTs on the pack you will be generating quite a lot of bonus threat when you get shifted into Bear form.

Hmm this makes sense, but still its odd to pull aggro from the main tank specially mid fight with just a couple of dots and going in to bear form for a second. If this was the case then bears would be pulling aggro all the time in raids from the other tanks. Also this never happens when i shift into bear form as a defensive its only when i use incapasitaing Roar.
If this happens repeatedly and your tanks aren’t very … inexperienced, I would expect either a macro that includes taunt in it,a taunt misclick (e.g. due to changed action bars in bear form) or nameplates that change depending on your form and cause you to think you got aggro even though its just a visual change, but you seem to have ruled that out.
I never got aggro from Incap Roar ever, the short duration in bear form is not enough (especially mid pull) to out you above the tank
I have double checked all of these and none is true. No macro, No taunt, and im pretty sure i get aggro cause i get melleed to death. Also im not 100% sure but this happens mostly when i use the roar on the Ascendant affixes when they spawn on top of the mobs or boss. If i use my roar on mobs interrupts this is never a problem its allways on the affix that bugs.
