Incentives to play alliance

Dunno what seal you are referring to and I feel that every man for himself would just cause balance issues rather than make people re-roll at this point. Although of course some % of min-maxers would make the change.

I’m now at 262 characters on my scan at 2 and a half hours.

It’s been stuck on night elf druid for well over an hour.

I never played pala, but the way I understand it, in TBC belfadins get seal of blood that is the “ret” seal, while allidins get seal of whatever that is good for prot tanks. So belfs can dps and allies can tank, but not the other way around. Then in wotlk allies get seal of martyrdom that is basically renamed seal of blood, and hordes get the tanking seal.

Non that will not destroy what’s left of the integrity of the game.

Ok Mr. 25% passive stun resistance. Go away now.

lol jealousy is a sin.

For me the WoW storyline did it.
At very first I rolled alliance, then I got to kinda like the horde. Wasn’t ever happy with Sylvanas’ little extermination project, the existence of which barely anyone put together.
Storyline developments over the years convinced me I don’t want to be a part of it, however.

As far as PvP goes, I’m hoping BC comes out and then racials will get their review. I don’t recall their balance status.
They could tweak some numbers if they wanted.
But I’m not really involved with PvP.

It won’t happen, but a general solution for PvP imbalance is to put characters from both sides to both teams in PvP. So it becomes a 50-50.

Oh, and another thing that won’t happen: an overhaul (fix) of the travel system (teleport to any flight path). Alliance is massively handicapped in this regard. It takes 30 minutes from Darnassus to STV, and that’s just sad (so is STV as a whole). Bonus points if you fall into a terrain bug so you have to travel twice. Started playing 45 minutes ago with Rallying Cry on and I’ve yet to shoot an arrow

I think this discussion should be brought up when Classic TBC announcement is made.

Just give alliance some proper pve racials and maybe some top guilds will rerolll alliance.

All tho i think mecha gnome is pretth good

How am I jealous for pointing out a fact you hypocrite?

PvP racials about even? Can I have whatever your smoking please?

i would say shadowmeld has no equal(nothing even comes close) in world pvp, wisp is also super good if u are dispeling.

stoneform, escape artist, wotf and hardiness id all rate as top racials for any other form of pvp.

they are all pretty dependent on the class-race combination. priests for example as horde troll have better racial abilities (UD one is only good for 1v1s, as long as u are not up against a dwarf, paladin or priest)

I wouldn’t say no to an exp bonus. Levelling kinda dropped off a cliff for me after 30. I’m stuck at 42 right now with no real clue where to go since I’ve done most quests my level except dungeon ones which there are no groups for on my server.

Only incentive to play alliance is instant queue.

But that come with lesser pvp racial (immun stun
lol ?). 100% lose rate in AV. And being dominated by horde in world pvp because of population.

paladin vs shaman is somewhat balanced since shaman get their free double crit.

To that silly orc saying pvp racial are balanced, nothing come close to being immun to stun. escape artist is pretty much the only racial on part with horde racial. Rest is terrible.

25% Stun resistance is good for any class.

An extra trinket+fear/charm immunity is good for any class.

An AoE stun is good for any class.

Stoneform is the best Alliance racial for PvP and it doesn’t come close to any of those, it helps counter rogues blind and hunters viper sting for 8 seconds. If you gave players the choice between hardiness and stone form what do you think they would pick - not taking factions into consideration.

No one rolls Troll Priest for PvP.

Escape Artist is incredibly overrated. If It had no cast time and granted slow immmunity for x seconds after use then it might actually be up there with some Horde racials, but it doesn’t.

I knew what to expect when it came to racials and classic and still rolled Alliance but for someone to say they are even is really laughable.

At the moment faction balance on most of the realms is good or at least okay. Nothing needs to be done.

TBC will be a disaster though.

you’re jealous that you can’t resist stuns like a chad, and have to settle for shadowmeld like the beta elf you are.

yes 25% stun resist is good for everyone but it is not nearly as useful on say a hunter compared to what else they have to choose from.

a trinket that does what ur faction class has a button with no cd to do for his entire party.

sure the stun can be good but it has more pve applications than pvp due to the cast time and in a lot of cases waste of DR.

some classes would choose stoneform over hardiness.

sure troll is the main choice for pve but it is also really good for pvp. but generally people dont roll classic wow for pvp, people pvp for pve gear. some people like wsg but pvp is objectively better in retail or other games entirely for that matter.

escape artist is really strong for mages, really good for warlocks too.

for 1vX alliance will always be better due to shadowmeld priest grief potential

Of course not, it’s for Classic, not retail

“Chad” “beta elf” what are you fourteen? My guess is that the first time a good night elf hunter FDed and melded on you it made your puny Orc head explode.
