Inconsistent text spacing within the in-game chat

Heya, this is a really odd one so I’ll try and explain this as best as I can.

Today when looking at the in-game chat in the trade channel I noticed that the text was messing up with either strange spaces between text, or text hugging very close to a letter, what could be the cause? I just installed the game and I don’t have anyone addons, the text is fine when typing in the text box but when the msg is sent the text is messing up.

The word apparently has an odd space between " ar ". Its as if the in-game chat has position issues with certain text.

EDIT====:

Alright, so I have did /resetchat and the resets chat so its super tiny, but the text spacing looks fine however when I change the text size from 14 ( default ) to 16 the text spacing issue returns again, and setting it back to 14 solves it. Might actually be a bug?

I’ve never noticed this before Waruru but now I cannot unsee! ^^

Given that it fixes itself when you go back to size 14, I would say this is indeed a bug and should be reported on to the developers. Make sure to use that ingame bug report tool to let them know and you can find this by pressing the red question mark on your action bar followed by the help button.

It’s a bit of an odd one so might take time to find out what’s causing the issue but hopefully it doesn’t inconvenience you too much while adventuring in Azeroth :slight_smile:

Latest hotfix seems to have fixed it I think ^^
