Increase Gilded crest drops in Delves

Considering there is no difficulty difference between t11 standard and bountiful and All players need hundreds of Gilded to make use of the recent changes. Why are the crest rewards for Delves so poor ?

T11 standard delves are exactly the same difficulty as T11 bountiful and the same with the once a week map , Blizz has removed the crest cap, but has still left in place the mechanism that stops Delvers grinding out the Crests in the same way that Myth players or Raiders can, Why just increase the crests ALL the crests and include them with all 8 to 11 delves
if they don’t all we will ever see is an ever increasing gap between the I level available to players depending on how they choose to play the game, EVERYONE deserves to play the game and progress, this Bias , Blizzards favouritism, toward Myth etc cant continue without haemorrhaging players

Delvers are already excluded from the dinar rewards unless they are willing to do content they normally avoid, why penalise them even more?

Also, you can tell that Blizz is focused on just keeping the upper tiers of the player base happy, with just hero and myth gear getting the upgrades , plus crafted. what about the tens of thousands of players who filled out slots with Champion gear to get to 650’ish due to garbage RNG, oh and before you say the RNG is just fine, why the hell are there so many “bad Luck Protection” features being introduced if it works sooo well lol, as for the Scramble, i ran 16 alts through delves last week, 4 Delves each was all i could stomach, i got 1 scrambler from those runs thats 64 runs = 1 bud luck protection scrambler , so it looks like we need " bad luck protection, for the bad luck protection"

Well if you are at point when you just need to farm gilded you are liekly 660 + and you can farm +7 keys.

You get now 3x7 +20 so 41 gilded from dvelved per week . That’s more then enough

The content with uncapped gilded crests for solo players will be visions

I would not bother farming this at the moment, unless you feel like you really want gear. If you look at Legion Remix Blizzard is very unsure about how they can fit open world and solo content into this game, and how it can fit into the reward structure of other content, so they just made it very grindy and unattractive currently. That’s why Legion Remix now has so many experiments like open world tiers.

If you ask me, I think content in this game should neither feel like parallel separate universes, nor like ladders. If I had it my way, I would make them feel like alternatives with variety, that you swap between based on what you feel like playing today.

which part of " those players that choose to delve and not raid or Myth" was confusing ?

Oh and by the way from a Myth player with a M2660 669 gear score who can back to back gain the Gilded they need, funny how you think 1 item a week upgraded for somone else is ok

you also need Runed and guilded for Champ gear if you check

I agree, my warrior has been grinding delves like no tomorrow, reaching 665 ilvl with a 681 crafted weapon. I planned to craft two more pieces for him, but the 90 gilded cost per item is just prohibitive, even with the extra 6 we get now.

This wouldn’t matter as much, except this reset made almost all T11 delves noticeably tougher, especially the final bosses. I’d love to farm crests to craft gear and do those delves more comfortably (with alts too) but if Blizzard keeps the costs this steep, I might just sit this season out and fire up good old Steam again.

If you choose not to do content that gives the best rewards then why should you get the best rewards?

This is the usual blizz give an inch and the players want a mile.

It’s already there for you since the beginning of the season, you can buy scrambler for 2k undercoins.

Just do m+ its less boring and more efficient unless you cannot find a tank / healer.

Do you use the “LOOT-RAID-R” curio?

I use that one to find all the curios in Delves (They’re tiny and very easy to overlook, otherwise), and i have enough of those scrambler-things to pull in the Underpin every week.

I am against the idea of giving more gilded crests in Delves, but I do support the idea of reducing the conversion rate of crests upwards from 15 to 10 or even 5.

Sounds fantastic, but with the so many of the player base being obsessed with I lev etc it means that at the moment even getting into other paths in the game is gated to an extent.

well you can get gilded achievement on your main - then on you alts you need just 10 crests per upgrade :slight_smile:

Firstly, 'I’m not asking for the Best rewards, just the same opportunity to make the best of the gear I already have

Secondly, Mythic did enough crying when the Raid cartel coins didn’t include a Mythic options, ooohhh noo, we cant have anything that doesn’t revolve around Myhtic or include them LOL

There is no cap on gilded crests that you can obtain from horrific visions which release next Wednesday.

Neat, didnt expect them to drop crests but i also didnt read much into it yet.

So unless they drop some last minute change that wasnt part of the ptr and give it a cap you should be fine.

Delves are suppose to take you to mythic +7 keys equivalent loot .they are not there to take you to +10 mythic equivalent loot . If you want better loot either do higher raids or mythic plus

I have an issue with the crest system because of how “illogical” and “unfair” it has been designed to be. Since we have a way to convert between the 4 different tiers, we can make the following table:

The growth in cost is exponential, and it appears smooth only because the payout is also exponentially higher in harder difficulty content. But the points at which this change takes place is extremely noticeable, and becomes a wall in equipment upgrade, and therefore progress, for anyone who cannot, for whatever reason, participate in the more rewarding content.

T11 delves give 15 runed crests now, so running 3 nets you 15 gilded. Spamming Fungus Folly was the most efficient way fo me to farm gilded.

Edit: and Sidestreet Sluice if either the gold piles or the chests are up
