Since it seems that a massive amount of people are unhappy, complaining and disappointed of it, I humbly suggest of Blizzard to listen to their supporting, money paying, community, and increase the loot drop rates. If not as they were before the modifications, at least higher than they are now. The Great Vault is not a bad idea, but don’t take away ALL the other drops from us (high chances to happen, even after clearing Nathria on both Normal and Heroic, and running a decent amount of M+).
I think there are many people to support this idea so, just, DO IT!
Just like how people were complaining that Legion and BfA threw loot at us for breathing pretty much and worst case scenario was a fully geared character 1 month into the patch, and then there was nothing to do.
Well, at least they were right. It makes no sense why people want to be fully geared in such a short amount of time when the expansion barely came out and this season will most likely last for another 4-5 months.
Loot is fine. Maybe increase the anima drop amount a little but even that is fine since you don’t really need anima for anything meaningful and you get it from literally anything so you’re constantly wondering what do with all that anima even.
The massive QQ have no idea about the drop rate. You literally have 40% drop rate to get an item in M+ , if you successfully complete the said M+, or 20% if not.
Yet here you are responding to every single “qq” thread you have in sight, I guess you enjoy the game so much you spend your time talking down people complaining instead of playing the game (I can see that from your gear)
In my opinion I think loot is fine as it is. Maybe a m+ currency to put it closer to what pvp currently is.
Alternatively a r.io baked into the game as a bracket so you can upgrade your gear with said currency (if you timed all 15s you can upgrade your gear to 15s ilvl)
That said, I don’t mind the current system at all. Soon 1400 rio and still rocking a 203 weapon and 203 gloves! Or well, bought conquest weapon this week and upgraded it to 220 for a juicy 180 deeps upgrade.
Is called alt-tabbing while waiting for a M+ party to fill up, or while flying from point A to point B.
And yes, I do answer to as many QQ posts about drop rate as possible, because clearly most of you have no idea about them. I mean, I’m sure you are going on and on and on with a failed run, just to complete it. That’s 20%.
Is that why you still use a green shield ? Because M+ is so easy to get gear in ? You’ve been max level for weeks now and yet your gear is the worst i’ve seen
I don’t think M+ needs any fix. It’s fine where it is, well maybe with the exception that it should scale higher (eg you are doing +18s you should be getting better stuff than mere 210 ilvl which is inferior to HC raiding and 1600 rating in pvp)
Most people complaining about M+ drop rates don’t know that timed key drops 2 items, which is as much as an untimed key did in BFA. It’s better to run lower keys and time them consistently than attempt keys way above your party skill/gear level, spend 1,5 hours in there and get 1 item for all this effort.
However.
What does suck is raid drop rates.
Unlike mythic+, raids are not repeatable content.
Nerfing drop rate in them by nearly half was uncalled for. Nobody ever asked for this. All I saw in BFA are complaints that M+ is over-rewarding (which it was!) and hardly any people bother with raiding because of this.
Now that is some 200 IQ play there - player activity in raids is decreasing, what do we do? Oh, we nerf all loot drop rate by 50%! GENIUS!
See the difference? Getting anima from M+ key is not a big deal. I can repeat those keys ad nauseaum. Finish one, leave party, find another one on premade group finder in 2 minutes, try again. Lots of people are doing mythic+ at all possible key levels. Even extremely high ones like 18s 19s. With raid though? If i don’t get any loot this week that’s it. There’s no repeat, next chance is in a week. Getting 10x 35 anima from full Nathria clear is incredibly demotivating. I simply do not want to bother with raiding anymore. It takes a lot of time, it should be rewarding.
