Like I said, increase netherwing eggs spawn rate, its insane how lot of ppl are farming them now, I cant find any in 1 hour of constant flying around. Get them better spawn rate so everyone can get their 1 egg at least!
So far I got 1-3 eggs a day from just doing dailies. Sometimes finding an egg respawn right infront of me, sometimes from mining nodes and most of the time from mobs in the mines. I am playing on firemaw and its super crowded so there is not much of an excuse. If you want eggs kill flayers in the mine as best chance

My advices would be :

If you can, roll mining or herbalism profession. So far, I reached to find 5 eggs in Nethercite deposit (I’ve got 266 Nethercite ores in my bags). Even on mega serveur (I’m playing on Firemaw) there are ton of Nethercite deposits.

Farm mobs (such as Netherwing ray). Respawn is fast and you can drop egg. Ofc, droprate is super low but they often drop Mote of Mana (so you can farm golds at the same time). So far, I’ve got 1 egg from Netherwing ray during my dailies.

I’ve already gotten 2 eggs from flayers in the mine just by doing the dailies. Don’t worry, chances are at leats one will drop for you for the regular quest before you are exalted.
You’re not supposed to get exalted with a “new” faction in 5 days, it’s normal for that process to take ~ 3 weeks, just because some people decided to get a full group and live in the cave for 72 hours straight to increase the gap between them and people who just do dailies and leave,does not mean that egg spawn rate should be increased. I’m just as frustrated as you are, because eggs are rare compared to how i remember them from 2006, but it’s expected, servers are more populated and lots of people were waiting for the content to come out, it’s normal

Why is it supposed to be like that? It was a hallmark of Classic WoW that rep grinds were not time gated. It was only in Wrath where Blizzard introduced the concept where you can get only X amoun of rep per week/day with a non-raid faction.

not being timegated doesn’t equal to “in a day with ease”. you can farm rep in few days at the cost of not doing anything else and wait forever.

Nope , egg spawnrate is not the problem here . 7 out of 8 dailes (assuming honored) being completely tedious and more time consuming than they should is the problem .
-To get the fel glands , the crystals and the flayer hides you need to kill something between 120 and 140 mobs (imagine being a healer)
-The booterang sends you flying in circles till you get epilepsy . Every friggin crystal should have at least 1 sleeping/angry fel orc so we can kill 2 birds with 1 stone while poisoning
-Another quests sends you to the other side of the map (nagrand)
-The not so friendly skies is a farce which i will not describe
So yeah . Prepare for 3 weeks of misery till exalted so we can kiss the netherwing ledge goodbye and yell never again .
Skettis and Ogrila hubs really did set the bar for me , dailies that serve as side money makers should never take more than 15-20 minutes per character…
just buy some boosts for it

Well, i don’t mind it, but i’m not against it either, it’s obvious that people who grind that cave 24/7 put in alot more effort than someone who just flies around and hopes to find an egg every 5 minutes. I’m just not a big fan of effort to reward ratio being rng dependent, I mean i get it, you can fly around for 3 hours ( which is for sure alot of effort ) and not find a single egg, which is abit of unfair, but if you want to eliminate that rng, try to farm that cave and see how that goes, i don’t look at it as a problem honestly
