Hello as i wrote above. We all know how Bad Melee classes are in TBC it’s no joke.
Warlock and Hunters are the god tier Dpsers.
Right now the droprate on warglaives are 5%
To get one pair of warglaives with 100% probability of both mainhand and offhand.
you have to do 40 kills of illidan. 40 kills of illidan is 40 weeks which is 10 months.
for 2 warglaives too drop, but this could also be 2 mainhand warglaives or 2 offhands etc.
10 months for one pair of set, when Melee dps is already an joke, Come one Activision just Send out Glaives to all the rogues and warriors of the freeking gad damn server, so we won’t have to make a decision over who gets what in our guild.
Well, no… this isn’t how drop rate % works.
You can still get 0 warglaives with 40 kills.
5% doesn’t increase each time.
You could be lucky and have them drop each week or be unlucky and not drop during the entire TBC.
Based off that, I should’ve had the glaives on retail ages ago.
Since in legion I had cleared BT every week in legion and got no warglaives.

You don’t have to do 40 kills, they could drop on the first run or the 1,000th.
I think you need to learn about how drop rates work. If it is 5%, which I doubt, it has a 5% chance each time, that will never change. It does not mean you have 100% chance to get one after 20 runs.
Some people did hundreds of runs back in TBC and never got either. It’s why Retail has the transmog version added.

I really stopped reading after “we all know how bad melee classes are in tbc and warlocks and hunters are god tier dpsers” Have you opened warcraftlogs recently and look up how melees are doing ?

So what you are saying is that I should have had 2 Garr bindings by now?

Hehe, not really
Melee is just… not harder to play, but you do get targeted by more mechanics. Where as the casters usually just sit there and tunnel from start to finish.
But no, melee are quite quite good. Especially Fury Wars. But the rest are quite good too.
As for Glaives… I can smell a Rogue player behind this post xD Nah, im generally find w/ the Lego drop chance. People will start farming BT from day 1, and the Glaives will be like your TF’s and Atiesh, everyone and their granny will have it.
Melee aren’t doing bad.
Some t5 mechanics were melee unfriendly and melee have always been scalers. By the time Glaives even drop, melee will be doing great because we’ll have a ton of crit and plenty of armour penetration.
Imagine arena with every rogue running around with glaives

I have done 26 karazhan without seeing a single druid staff drop. That’s not how rng works… even if it was 15% it could basically NEVER drop.

Cleared tk since first week release. Last 10 weeks we have been double clearing it. Seen 1 mount drop. Still have seen 0 caster staff of KT. Confirmed staff more rare then mount
Our 2 raids with 9 mages (of varying attendence) between them have seen exactly 0 of the forever BiS Mage trinkets from Morogrim. Imagine that. Oh and my previous guild has had 0 Staffs of Shadow Flame drop in over 40 BWLs, which is amazing odds, seeing as it has supposed 17% drop chance. When the first one dropped, most casters in the guild had Wraith Blades and brimstone staffs or whatsit (from Loatheb), and a second Atiesh on the way.
We only got 2 mages. We got our second trinket 1 reset ago. Still havent seen talon of azshara. But our meele get the s2 weapons now anyway so not that big of an upgrade.
I’ve done Naxx every week since it’s release on Classic. Wanna take a guess as to how many corrupted ashbringers I’ve seen?
- Zero. Zilch. None.
RNG sucks.
Killed Gruul every week since launch.
We should have geared our entire guild full of DSTs now.
Only two dropped so far xD.
If it makes you feel better, with my original guild I’ve seen exactly 1 Staff of Shadow Flame and 1 Sharpened Silithid Femur throughout Classic. We walked into Naxx with most casters still brandishing their Azuresong Mageblades (including me).
Yeah? Same here. Multiple resets too so we could try and get DSTs on different people. We’ve had one.
…Still more than I’ve had Ashbringers though. On that note, Morogrim boots don’t exist and we’ve only had one leather chest.
Vashj drops the same junk every week too. Always plate chests, plate healing gloves or the bloody dagger. Meanwhile, our mages and healers are basically decked out.
Plate healing always drops.
Never wants to drop anything else usually XD.
Tell that to our poor paladin still waiting for plate healing gloves of vashj. But hey, atleast we had 1 leather belt… and 5 daggers. That damn dagger. Doesnt make me much happier that there is as many meele daggers as there is caster weapons next tier.
There is a lot of daggers to be disenchanted
Nah it’s 50% every week, they either drop or they don’t.
Anyway legendaries aren’t supposed to be common. Increase your luck instead.

Ahaha.
Yeah, we’re kinda the same.
Whenever our paladin that needs the gloves isn’t there, it drops.
Whenever he’s here… it doesn’t drop lol.
