I got like 20k badges for just afking Illidan skip kills
Yeah, it was the same for me. I grinded the TW item quest on like 15 alts every single TW week and accrued massive amounts of badges. The problem is that Blizzard have BOTH nerfed the acquisition of badges and vastly increased the cost of items. If I get both the new BfA Timewalking mounts I can’t get that much more for my badges.
The easier answer is always based on the question: what does this do for blizzard?
it gets them more engagement cause you now need to run more timewalking to get the same amount of badges you used to get.
What took 2 alts before (1000 = 500+500 tw badges) now takes 4 (1100 = 200+200+200+500 tw badges)
cause really, if the problem is people who are sitting on a pile of badges, then how is squeezing acquisition of it the solution? this does not remove your pile, it just makes it harder for others to get a pile.
