Blizzard added new Timewalking mounts in the each expansion (BC, WotLK, WoW, BfA,etc.). All cool, can’t complain about that. The problem is that Blizzard nerfed Timewarped Badge currency accruence. Now for alts we don’t get the full amount of badges (500) for the first dungeon, it’s 200 per alt. How are we supposed to farm 5000 badges for a mount with such a low rate and only a few (or one - dungeon) sources to acquire the currency.
I suggest Blizzard at least do these:
bring back 500 badges for alts.
do timewalking raids for each expansion so we have another source of badges income
Problem is that folk (like me) ended up being able to acquisate badges faster than Blizzard could make things to buy with them. I was sitting on about 100k of the things before they started to update the vendors. Even now I’m only missing about 1 or 2 of the mounts, and I’ve probably got about 80% of everything else.
I am glad I managed to hoard a bunch of these badges during the 20th anniversary. During the first week the quest was bugged and gave 500 to every character.
Most people look upon those words with floccinaucinihilipilification.
No AI here though, I don’t like AI. I just don’t get the excvuse to use that word very often. XD
Tons of added collectibles at inflated prices on top of the reduced income for badges… /yay.
Was sitting pretty having gotten everything prior to the 20th Anniversary… had 75k in excess, but the new stuff burned through quick what was available then, and there’s so much more added since.
And the solution to that is adding a repurchasable satchel with goodies, not making everything unattainable for whoever doesn’t spend 8+ hours of TW grinding per day.
AI is the average of ALL text, not the average of current English spoken by native speakers. One of the easiest ways to spot AI generated content is to look for the long dash symbol, as it has been used a lot historically but is now out of fashion.
Edit: otherwise, how do you explain Merlinbot’s use of a word that is “archaic” and is not used in modern English?
That’s exactly what Blizzard wants. You to not be ‘done’ in a very short amount of time.
Because this is after all an MMORPG with a monthly subscription.
Whether or not that’s an issue for you is another matter.
I only use ChatGPT, and when I ask for a word or phrase to translate, it always gives me the most common ways to do it; but you can of course ask for a certain style.
I’m not a native speaker and didn’t know how to translate “a process of accrue(ing?) accrueingenieng something”. Like “accrue rate” in 1 word. “APY” type of stuff.
