That remains to be seen, they might still be top tier not just bc of Shroud but having insane AOE dmg. I wouldnt be so sure about rogues no longer being top tier

It’s not a bad move, but that also means that the new affix in S4 better not be as terrible as the emissaries. At this point as casual I can get mythic raid gear ilvl items with a lot of persistence and luck. In 8.3 that means I’ll have “git gud” and put in more effort to get the same level of gear, which I might never obtain. Currently practicing to get +12 and higher done, but I have the advantage of having mythic raid gear, which I won’t have next season.

Best news for a while. 15s are no joke for most players but at least us plebs who can’t do much Mythic raiding but do enjoy M+ quite a bit can stay in the game

It’s a good compromise.
If you want mythic quality gear, do 15 which is more than fair enough if they scale the dungeons higher.
+10 is literally a walk in the park and it should not give you mythic quality piece.

It lessens the gap, which is really good, but the problem still persists.

M+ is gonna farmably reward gear 10 ilvls less than mythic quality, which is a good change, and definitely fair since a +15 is harder than any HC boss.
However it’s still so low that it’s gonna get irrelevant if you raid mythic, and you’re still gonna feel forced to raid mythic to push keys, and this thing is really gonna suck for my alts, but oh well.

The weekly chest going up to +15 rewarding mythic quality is good, but it also introduces a problem. Now every remotely serious player is gonna be forced to do +15 every week, for that 5 ilvl difference, which is so low compared to the difficulty gap between 10 and 15.
Groups in the 10-14 range is gonna be so toxic, since those keys are not gonna matter, so as soon as it’s looking not timed people are gonna leave real quick.

Overall am happy with the change, but i still have my doubts about it’s effectiveness.

Well at least i have a reason to push M+ more.

I mean, i get why people like to push super high but i don’t really like to do that for just more 430 loot in the chest.

At least next season gear from chest will matter more, first weeks will give good gear and i will have a new title and a mount to aim at.

Blizzard should give those reward every season tbh

I am wondering what a +10 will reward in next season. I assume it will be a bit lowered so 10-14 would not be the same :thinking:

I can definitely say that about champions of the light in s2.
Wouldnt be faire for me to say anything about mythic EP cause I chose not to farm perls.

From what we have right now, +10 is gonna reward mythic - 5 ilvl and then jump to +15, but i wouldn’t mind smoothing it out.
