Increasing text size in the UI?

Hello!

Returning player here. As I’ve aged, my eyesight has decreased, and despite having had lasik surgery, I’m having trouble making out the text in the base UI.

I’ve found some addons that help me change the font size in the chat, in the bags, in action bars, unit frames and quest text - but I’d like to be able to increase the text size “in general”, like, for the entire game.

When last I played, I recall there being a simple box to check that’d make the entire game scale to my desktop UI. I can’t for the life of me seem to find that box anymore.

Does anyone have a solution for me? Perhaps an addon, or is there a simpler fix?

I think you are referring to the UI scale option. That is still available and will help make things a bit bigger including the quest text box \o/

You can find it in the system settings option under the advanced category called UI scale. It will only appear when you are logged into a character and to open the game menu, press the esc key on your keyboard.
