Incremental gains - This is what classic is about

I see a lot of threads around - “This takes too long” “I don’t want to do this for a small gain” “This should happen quicker”

Classic is about time investment, and small gains along the way. It’s not about doing a quest in 10 minutes for your next big iLvL upgrade, to go do the next quest and replace said item.

The philosophy behind classic is slower, more spaced out gains that are a small step each time.

Yes it’s sad, but what can you do with all the guides and MinMax strategies out there?
I’ll play again in 3 weeks and do my leveling and Dungeon runs then, hopefully i’ll be able to find groups, tho i fear most people will have done all the dungeons way too much by then.
Gone are the days of doing any of them just for the heck of it, oh well

agreed. but when you have warlocks putting in 300 bags plus and not even getting a drop that just absolutely ridiculous. i know of some that have put in 7800 bags to get a modas karkun. thats just insane.

Totally agree. The centrepiece of any RPG is progression. You slowly improve, acquire empowerments, do quests and quest chains, unlock new abilities, increase your renown among important factions, slowly working towards your goals while also collecting useless trinkets and having fun with your friends (MMO RPG exclusive)
