Infinite Power Adjustments

Lucky me, I only have around 50k.

Can confirm that this is possible. Most of my gear comes just by doing quests. Just do all quests available, an you should be around ilvl 700. Tho, i did the raids for the extra infinite Knowledge.

This isn’t an issue on certain people using certain methods to gain IP and gear, it’s about casual players not knowing how to obtain those things in open world. First thing i did was getting all Infinite Knowledge possible, so the grind part becomes way easier. Now I’m getting around 1-5k IP per pull from normal Mobs in HC mode.

I did most of the outdoor quests and am ilvl596. How can you be 700?

I did Val’sharah and Suramar for questing until 80, that leaved me with 3 more zones + Campaign quests for gearing. The Chests lock in the ilvl you have whilst obtaining them. Also, counting in the quests from Eternus, that give you a guaranteed epic piece based on your current ilvl. I did the Raids, but the gear i got there was negligible.

Every chest gives you around 1-2 shards (or how that things are called), so 5-10 Quests for 1 piece of gear. I also did all World Quests almost every day.

EDIT:
I highly recommend doing the Raids at least once. I would say the most important mechanic in Lemix is Infinite Knowledge.

You do most the quest in order to get your ilvl to the max those crates of infinite treasure can give.

After that you further increase ilvl by combining 10 motes, you get the motes out of those boxes from doing quests, you can also do the raids to get them and gear drops from the bosses (not LFR)

I know that. I just say it’s impossible to get ilv700 with just the quests (even with Argus).
You can get to 700 ilvl outdoors I guess by mass farming ‘Heroic’ mobs, but with my ret Pally at nearly 600 I still cannot do that. It is better since the Tuesday patch however, I guess there was a stealth nerf on the ‘Heroic’ mobs.

Well, maybe playing only 4 hours a day catalogs me as ‘casual’. :grinning::smirk:

Dunno about that, but I’ll admit it feels like there’s a barrier at ilvl 600. If you overcome that, gearing gets much faster and easier. (at least in my opinion) The Heroic Mob farm was about IP, not gear, as far as i know.

IP will still be slow (compared to raids and dungeons), but ilvl upgrade will be easier.

And I’m ok with that, I dont want to be a godpowered thing. I’m just in here for the mounts, pets and toys, :grinning:

I also don’t care about IP too much. Being op is just a faster way to obtain the rewards, and that’s all i care about. It happens that I’ve got plenty of time right now, so i no-lifed remix to get there faster and be prepared for the next phases. Today i got the last achievement i cared about (M+30), so there’s almost nothing left to do for me in remix. Now i can log in on every new phase, obtain the new stuff quickly and easy, and don’t have to spend too much time on that

it is literally just a Fun Detected… Fun removed

I pay multiple accounts BUT, i love the level 20 twinking scene personally, so after doing all campaign and quests on a lv80, i switched my focus to lv20 free to play fun, after first few days, they stopped lv20s from gaining very high item level artifact weapons, then this morning upon Logging in , reverted all the item level back to basic alt levels.

Nice waste our time on a gamemode advertised as “We want you to break the game and see how powerful you can become”

il cya on Fellowship lol

Could we maybe at least have Infinite Power be account wide? The fact that it let’s you scale so much means that there’s an incentive to not play alts, because any time spent farming IP on those could have been time spent farming on your main instead. It also feels horrible to go from a 2 mil+ IP character to a 200k one.

They are saying

”We will punish you because we did not test this properly and now you are stronger than we intended you to be”

Blizzard is all about control.
Deciding & limiting player progression & enjoyment is their bread and butter

Even better. I also join low ilvl groups to help others.

That’s like asking your parents why they constantly tell you to eat slowly when they make dinner.

Because it costs money and effort to make said dinner. And eating it super fast is unappreciative of the food itself.

Well, not really, first part is true ? Second part not so much. If I am hungry I will scarf anything down, because you know… I am hungry.

I guess it requires being poor first to appreciate food. No offense.

? I grew up poor, my dude, that changes nothing.

Well, different parenting then, I guess.
