Inflatable Mount Shoes

As of patch 8.2 the water strider was nerfed and some of my characters got the Inflatable Mount Shoes but some didn’t why is that?

Did you own the water strider?

The water strider given item which was sent to all alts of the account was :

Otherwise there was no item to be given. Only owners of water strider got this due to the change that removed water walking from very specific mount.

You need to have chars over 100 to get the shoes in post .

Oh ? really ? It should be really 20, or at least the level you were able to buy the original mount.

Eligible toons will have received the Inflatable Mount Shoes in the post. “Eligible” meaning that you have already obtained the Anglers’ Water Strider “Requires level 100 and own either an Azure or Crimson Water Strider Mount.”

Yes i had the mount and my characters are over lvl 100 but nothing i didn’t get them

I know right but before 100 apparently water doesn’t exist to blizzard in there levelling zones :stuck_out_tongue:

All of them above 100 should have got them in mail if not place a bug report in.

But after check it was L90 that original strider was usable. Still wrong to make it 100. But players with many alts can detour this and send one of the spare ones to L20 alts. i for one have not used water walking on many of my 120s as they fly currently, and my dk for example sent hers to a bank character to hold.

Eh… [mutters to herself]… 100… what are they smoking at Blizzard.

Think u can buy more of them from the guy i cant remember the name of right now and send to low lvl alts aswell. Dont know the price though… (the fishing guy where u got the strider)

So blizzard you name a zone Wetlands …………“but you don’t need water walking”

Actually Wetlands doesn’t need much waterwalking. It’s mostly shallow water and a few small streams.
However, Azshara for example has a lot more such swimming with the stupid goblin town in the middle of the ocean.

It only seems to come in the post at a late level, but even then… some characters I leveled up to 120 STILL have not gotten it and apparently, it’s not something I can buy and send to them via the mail :confused:

Also, i used the water walker mount a lot when leveling up, from 1 to 120 prior to the change. Now my characters are forced to swim in watery zones which is not good or fun. It should mail to all of your alts upon creation or hitting lvl 20.
