Ingame cutscenes with caracter

I want to find a way to replay all the cutscenes in 8.3 with my caracter in it. Is there even a way?

I would pay good money for this option.

Yeah, make it like SWTOR. You can replay all the chapters from a few expansions.

This would be really nice, the cutscenes with our characters is great and makes it that much more personal, really enjoyed that addition. Would be coool to be able to replay and maybe change our outfits also.

I think to myself that maybe party sync might work for some but it’s quite a roundabout way to do it, also some cutscene trigger from entering area so I doubt that somehow.

Also that picture is great :laughing:

The Cinematics can all be triggered by script commands / macros.

But obviously what you want is a complete listing of all of them, i know the
Leatrix Plus addon for one has a complete browsable index of all video files:
https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/leatrix-plus

Edit: Sorry, seems this only applied to the proper cinematics, not the cut-scenes with your character in it. So it’s likely of no use here.

No, your only solution is to start a new character.
WoW is still outdated, it might take a while for them to add this feature, but my guess is, they won’t…
The only mmorpg that as this option, is FFXIV.

Would be nice, yes
It felt a bit silly to watch the last chamber cutscene where Magni prasies you and calls you a champion of Azeroth after killing N’zoth…
…while a third eye blinks on your forhead and tentacles dingling everywhere from you…
Quite emberassing that was

I wish they’d stop calling me champion or whatnot. “Hey, you there”, “Come here”, “look at this” or such would do. Subtitles using your toon name instead of what the bosses say is silly as well. Just accept that they can’t even remember your name, there’s millions just like you around…

I’d accept references by race or class…

“Champion” and “Hero” feels so forced.

Hello adventurer who might have saved the world multiple times but I have no idea who you are.

How else would you call someone who helped save the world from multiple threats and across world’s and timelines?

What qualifies someone as a hero?

If that’s what you want, at least make it an official title…

Like how Hawke is called “Champion” in Dragon Age II because it’s an official title used to honor those who do something great for the city of Kirkwall.

Generally speaking, not having a pulse anymore tends to be part of the requirements

I like the way this concept is currently handled tbh. Generic hero calls in the voice-overs and character names in the subtitles. Simple, clever and straight forward in my opinion.

Cool, then I qualify I guess.

It would be nice to have a way to rewatch them.

One of millions who did the same. Yeah, they’d probably have trouble. Even if there are no others who did the same lore-wise, it all breaks down on metalevel and makes the cutscenes a bit silly.

Yeah, that would be better.

If we need a reserved title for this purpose then my vote is to bring back the title from Blackwing Descent for this purpose.

Sandsh - Slayer of Stupid, Incompetent and Disappointing Minions.

Edit:
According to wowhead this title has been “Attained by 0% of profiles”. I’d be lying if i said that this didn’t make me feel deeply disappointed in y’all collectively…

My all time favourite title, and back in cataclysm I used to sit with it in SW proudly…

… until we started to wipe on next progress boss and that title never last past 1st trashpack… or Nefarian.

This title should totally be permanent.
