Blizzard, when are you actually going to fix this problem that has existed for well over a year close to 2 years?
Trying to reinstall WoW is a effing nightmare. It just rotates from Initialising > try to update > initialising > try to update > initialising etc…
Nothing is stopping it, no security apps blocking it etc. It just doesn’t effing work. You keep trying to make it like it is other people’s fault, I reinstalled my OS not long ago it’s a fresh god damn system, all updated and working fine… except your god damn launcher.
It is really annoying me now, you have done nothing for 2 years to fix the issue. Actually, perhaps do your jobs, so people can play stuff they paid for? No?
This problem usually means, that there is a problem connecting to our patch server. In some cases it can mean, that there is a permission issue with accessing local files.
As this would require a MSInfo, it’d be best if you get in touch with us via ticket.
If you get an automated response, please reply and resend the files, as all files are automatically deleted when we respond.
I aint going to bother sending system info, the launcher is trash, D3 install… no problem… Overwatch install… no problem, any other title in my list on the launcher to install… no problem.
WOW install… go f yourself. It doesn’t work. IT IS A PIECE OF CRAP. It has been like this for 2 years for people, I experienced it on day of Expac launch - I forgot what was said to fix it by another player… but can’t easily find it on the forum, because the forum is rubbish too.
I am fed up with this “it’s the consumers fault” stance by your company, been playing WoW since 2004, the last 6 months has been the most annoying stupid unnecessary crap I have ever experienced, even patch days was brutal had to wait sometimes close to 1hr for it to actually download a patch.
Unfortunately I keep getting Realm incompatable after downloading the patch. Tried repair tool and check for updates… still the same problem… Well done again blizzard… I simply don’t have the data to redownload the game yet again as I have a limit. GG… FIX IT!
That’s sad to hear, hopefully something can be worked out.
I just find this laughably sad, I can install classic, but not retail, and everything else on my account installs fine…
But I am sure they will come back and say it must be your PC send in info… because… even though everything else is fine… it must be something I am doing…
Hours later still the same old crap, the installer is broken.
Everything else installs fine, except retail. Ergo not my PC at fault, not security app problem since classic installs into the same god damn main folder.
How about fixing this so I can actually play the god damn game.

everytime i see patch its 50/50 if itll downloaded normally or with trouble So i gotta start initializing then close bnet (ill see warning msg about downloading)
and then reopen
