Last 24 hours have been bad. Sometimes it takes up to three seconds to complete a task like skinning a critter. Then another 2-3 seconds for the items to show up and then another two three seconds for the items to go into the bags.
Same with combat. I send cat. She sits on her hind and laughs at me. 2 seconds later she goes.
Is this goign to get fixed soon? I am not the only one who has this. Everybody i hae talked to in the last 24 has this.
Turning what off? The internet? Yeah that would fix it but then i could not play. Besides ihave no idea what you are talking about. Turn what off?
Its so bad i have stopped playing now. That is how bad it is
I am saying that the UI is slow as heck. Click a button and the game has to catch up with your input and then executes a few seconds later. Same with skinning. Same with herbing or anything that involves playing the game.
There are a ton of topics about what you can try to fix this. Without specifics no one will be able to help you.
Unfortunately Iâm a total noob when it comes to this sort of stuff but I might be able to help.
I always played 100 fps and 24 ms, obviously with minor fluctuations. After patch 8.1 I got 30 fps and 600 - 2000 ms.
What I did was update add-ons, but that didnât fix it, so I checked add-on memory usage. WeakAuras was using 3000 so I disabled that, putting me back at 24 ms.
I cleaned cache, that didnât change anything.
Unfortunately my fps now fluctuates from 70 to 100 and back quite regularly but at least my ms is at the good old stable 24
Has nothing to do with my machine. Its not latency as far as i know since i am in the low 20âs ms. Its the game not doing what it is instructed to do. In a timely manner. Its the servers not working in tandem or there is a bottleneck on the servers that handle bags for instance.
Hmm now that I think about it, my bags lag as well and it happens most when I use the âopen allâ option in my mailbox.
The lag happens because any new items in my inventory have this âflashingâ thing going on which disappears when I mouse over it. The more items or stacks âflashingâ, the worse the lag gets.
Hope you find the problem and if itâs out of your hands: hope it gets fixed for you.
