Installer speed issues - it has been weeks

Starts of at normal download speed for me (22-30 mb/s) and then gets to like 30% and DRASTICALLY declines to this pathetic excuse of download speed in the year 2024.

This has been going on for weeks now and no, my internet is not the issue. It´s a blizzard, battlenet, " small indie company " issue.

Just posted in another thread.

Workaround which works for me.

  • Go to your wow installation and start the Wow.exe manually.
  • Close the game without logging in.
  • Now you have some seconds to tab back to your battlenet launcher. The play button should be blue and you can start the game from battle net. If you take to long the download might start again, just repeat.

Yep did that before, only reason I went back on battlenet was because I was forced to update the game, thankfully it updated randomly now jumped to like 99% and then had 10 kb/s but it finished.
