Hi I have a new laptop which I share with my mum but I cant seem to clear any space in storage and I cant install WoW due to this. Can anyone help me? I don’t want to break this brand new laptop
You give zero information with which we can even try to begin to help you.
So Im going to invent a laptop for you.
A 1995 HP NC6000
4GB hard drive, 512mb ram
I am sorry but that laptop doesn’t meet minimum specs.
Hey there! You can check our system requirements here. The part that should be relevant to you is Storage.
If your laptop doesn’t have at least 70GB available on HDD, you can look into external Hard Drive/SSD solutions.
@the Blue Poster with the cyrillic name (I can’t generate cyrillic characters on this keyboard so I can’t write your name, sorry)
I don’t know if it is true today, but at one point the battlenet installer was hardcoded to look for sufficient free space on the C:\ drive, even if it was configured to install on another drive, and if it could not find sufficient space on the C:\ drive, then it refused to install.
This in the past caused a lot of issues with people who had small SSD’s as their c:\ drive for booting, but used larger “spinning rust” drives for storage.
I have to wonder if the original poster is coming across some variant of that issue.
Maybe get a USB removable hard drive then you could install and play WoW on it?
