Me and most likely every other player on the anniversary realms for TBC are currently experiencing significant latency and performance issues while playing the game.
Auction House trading is literally impossible due to extreme lagging with most times up to 10 seconds between buyout and getting the buy.
Disconnects occur even more frequently as usually.
Y’all really need to fix this. The game is nearly unplayable under these circumstances.
I’m having the same problem. It’s been laggy since the first day of the prepatch, and now it’s almost impossible to use the auction house! I thought it was something wrong with me or my addons, but I see now it’s the server.
We pay a monthly sub fee for this level of service. Servers that can’t run a 20 year old game. And let’s not talk about the boosts and heroic upgrades they raked in money for. Still NOTHING done to expand their infrastructure to provide a decent service.
This my friends is latestage corporation greed and anyone defending this is a delusional little paypig.
i just tried to sell 9 giant eggs on the auction house and it took over 4 minutes for them all to be posted.

They just ignore the issue completely, alongside anyone that complains. Long gone are the days when CS reps answered issues on the forums. Now its here just so you vent instead of doing what they deserve for this crap level of service - unsub and never give them another cent. Tho it probably won’t matter, seeing as everyone went ahead and gave them a bag of cash for an overpriced boost…
It’s gotten so ridiculous on Thunderstrike that it takes 5 minutes to take 3 items out of the mailbox…

This is just ridiculous… paying 15 bucks a month to not be able to play the game from the afternoon till late in the night…
yeah idk… makes no fun to play like this. dosnt look like they will do something about. they simply dont care.
i can understand that on patchday everyone creates a bloodelf and the first 2-3 days its laggy on starting areas. but its still laging this much makes no sense.
I bet they count on the fact that ppl will quit so they dont have to buy more hardware
Just waiting for the Blizzard boot lickers to come in and tell everyone that you all just need to be patient and the servers will be fine in a months time.
Have you tried selling smaller eggs and seeing if that makes any difference?
Latestage corporation greed. Not just Blizzard, it happens worldwide in every single marketspace. Corporations becoming more and more greedy implementing completely inhumane business strategies to milk their costumers. I see it everywhere, and i’m so damn tired of it.
Worst part is that I know that no fix will come, they’ll just ride this out til less people are stressing the servers in 2-3 months from now on..
People are still unable to play on bugged boosted characters. Hunters/warlocks still has pets bugged /w memory leak causing huge fps drops even on NASA computers. API’s still a mess so addon providers can’t update their addons properly. Support site not loading, item restoration page not working. Auction house not working. Missing spells. Missing items from the heroic pack. Zero communication. Nothing.
And they are charging a monthly fee for this absolutely garbage service.
Preach my brother! I wish more people would say it how it is and that this forum and the US forums were flooded with posts until they have to address the issues failing that it’s cancelling the subscription which is I’ll be doing if I see no improvement come TBC I’ll probably do it even if they do because I can’t stand what the company has become but for now I’ve invested time into my characters to prepare for TBC as have most people and I think they know this and play on it.
