So i’ve joined back after a long time, wanting to quest a bit, chill around. But before i was even able to log back in, a quick window popped in my game with a few messages saying basically “be friendly, help others, join with others, spread love and peace <3”, so with that being forced to accept, i logged in my character and got instantly new quests that led me to this new expansion War Within, where i have to kill these “memories” or whatever.
Funny part is, the moment i teleported to these zones where i am supposed to do these quests, i got instantly killed like 6 times by max lvl horde players…
I found that really funny considering couple of minutes ago i got forced to accept this “love message” from Blizzard, and then got instantly oblirated, not being able to participate in this new event…
What a great experience.
I tried to turn off this warmode and now i’m able to actually play, thanks for advice!
On a serious note, the social contract you agree in the beginning is that if you act like a fool in any of the public chat channels, people have a right to report you which can lead to a suspension depending on the severity.
That being said those suspension double each time.
turn off warmode mate. Its not the same as pvp servers. Warmode is far more unbalanced than pvp servers ever were. If you turn on warmode in max lvl areas you better be in a raid group or else you will be ganked by a raid group
The code of conduit is for how you treat other players, not how you treat other characters.
You can point at an Orc (NPC or Played Character) and call them a smelly Orc (only restrictions would be IRL swear words or discriminatory language) if you want. Or in War Mode attack them if you want.
You can’t insult (or attack) other players, only their characters.
Its the risk you take playing with WM on.
I did it with my Horde hunter on an Alliance populated server cluster… Sure it wasn’t the greatest experience but still got to 80 and it felt pretty good when I got my own back on a few of them.
But we have some emotes removed from the game despite it being from character to character and not from player to player.
Also, isn’t tea-bagging a bannable offense? (and wow, the word tea-bagging is offensive and cannot be posted!?)
