Hiya peeps! This might be the first time I’m asking for help here, and I think i tried everything else.
So the problem started with me using the TEERAKAI entrance to the Zaralek Cavern in the Ohn’arahn plains.
Just before the character phased in to the cavern itself it stopped and disappeared off the screen. I could still move the cursor but could not move anything or even log out/exit game.
ALT+F4 and loggin in again make it seem it’s all OK now, but no…
The nameplates of ANY NPC did not appear. I enabled everything on the Nameplates tab in options and still nothing. Using “V”, “Ctrl + V” still nothing. Returned the WHOLE intereface to default and disabled all addons. Even deleted Cache folder - still nothing.
I can see there are nameplates when click on an NPC but it shows only the nameplate of the NPC I clicked on. If I pull a pack of mobs, the only nameplate visible is the one I clicked on. That goes for Enemy, Friedly and Neutral NPC’s.
The freezing while phasing into Zaralek happened a few times before on another entrance in the Azure Span, but didn’t affect the nameplates like that.
I found this command “/run SetCVar(“nameplatePlayerMaxDistance”, 60)” somewhere on the forum and tried it, but still no change.
The problem appears to be only on a specific character(that happens to be my main unfortunately) and didn’t affect the others I have. They have the same settings and using the same addons.
If anyone got any ideas, please do share before I try re-installing the game.
