Within our houses, there are 2 types of walls. Standard ones we can alter by using the Customize Mode, and then ones that act as decor we can place around. Problem is however that the latter cannot be altered, and so I am here, trying to request the option.
Using these decor walls allows us to shape our homes exactly the way we want to without having to be constricted by the default room shapes. However, they all are as basic as they come and we cannot change them at all. So for instance if you are trying to build using the Bel’ameth Wall Style but Silvermoon Wall Material, you won’t be able to do the same for these walls.
Can this be changed? It would allow us to make the homes look exactly as we want to by removing those rather unnecassary constrictions! Giving people more options is what was desired after all, no?

Tell me about it. A greater selection of structural objects is my number one wish for Housing by far. Not only are we severely limited in the quantity but like you said the partition walls and pillars cannot be scaled up/down and none of the objects in that category can be dyed either.

Yup. Only hoping that perhaps by adressing the issue here and showing there is a demand for these updates we might eventually end up getting them. Feel like a number of us may be held back from engaging with housing the way we’d like due to these rather small and I imagine easily solveable issues.

I totally agree with you.
If feels like lazy programming on Blizzard their part.
I hope this gets enough traction so it will be noticed by Blizzard.
I’d love to be able to have the option to change those walls.

Walls/Pillars can be scaled. I found out by a youtuber but basically you press the “ [ “ or “ ] “ buttons to increase/decrease their sizes.
